We just have to wait for it to leak now.
Unlocking the iPhone 5S was very slickjust rest your finger on the Home button and the phone unlocks immediately. You dont have to press or move your finger around waiting for it to be recognizedit just worked.
Not OTA from the beta. Will it be available OTA?
Will it be available OTA?
Ah ok, thanks. Not OTA from the beta.

No OTA update. And no need to manually update to public release as they should be the exact same build unless there's a critical bug. Will it not update automatically? If no, do I also need to manually update to the "retail" version of iOS 7 once it hits?
Same here. I love mine, its a little trooper.
As I understand, GM is the 'retail'-verdion, so no.Will it not update automatically? If no, do I also need to manually update to the "retail" version of iOS 7 once it hits?
Yet now a fingerprint sensor comes along that is basically unheard of in the consumer space.. 3D with contours. works on any angle. Encrypted and stored on the CPU itself. Used within the OS/API to provide password-free operation of many apps used almost daily..
and it's a gimmick? yet drawing out a pattern on a screen is next-gen the way most android users sell it?
Laughing all the way to the bank.
Space Gray 32GB 5S with case will be mine!

well thats a problem for me then. You need the iTunes beta to restore it to the GM.
I had the problem last year that my beta firmware install just deactivated. Will the same happen to the GM or will it seamlessly integrate with future iOS releases?
Will these fit regular iPhone 5s?
The prices for this budget model just aren't competitive at all. Why is this new superior version with a better processor just 100 dollars more, it's not that big of a gap. The 5C should have been an actual budget revision aside from just a cheaper case. If they made something new looking that had features removed from the current model but was cheap, that would have been the key.
You need the iTunes beta to restore it to the GM.
Only the betas deactivate after a certain amount of time. GM will seamlessly integrate with future releases. For example when 7.0.1 hits you will be able to just update OTA directly to that.
GM will seamlessly integrate. all OTA updates will work. I’ve done this before and it’s fine.

Which is why it's hilarious that these analyst keep on crying about Apple not creating a low margin phone. The stock went down because of lower margins on higher revenue. It is very clear that Apple investors don't like lowered margins.
And for confirmation you don't need you udid registered to run the GMs. I thought this was true before. I'm hoping this has not changed.
Your fingerprint is being stored on the processor? Did they actually say that? If so that doesn't make any sense. Processor can't store anything, basically just moves things around.
All fingerprint information is encrypted and stored securely inside the A7 chip on the iPhone 5s. In other words, it’s not stored at Apple or backed up to iCloud.
Wait, with GMs you don't need to have a developer account?
You don't need 11.1 to instal GM iOS7. But you need it to see iphone after it instals in itunes.
Of course. Dunno why they even call is a 5S case.

Oh well who cares about that then.

Someone who wants to be able to replace their app data, such as their saved games?

to legitimately download it and the necessary version of iTunes needed to install it from apple you need a PAID developer account.
but to install both/either of them, no you don't need a developer account. You just have to find them being hosted somewhere first.

To download it from Apple you do, but there is no actual check in the GMs. Therefore once it's leaked you'll be free to install it.
Also, no iTunes beta for Windows, so it should install fine for those with the latest version 11.0.5.5. Mac users will need the beta version of iTunes though as far as I know.
Yes someone will rehost the GM and you can install it. According to some in here the old version of itunes cant see the phone. That sounds really odd to me.so basically someone will leak the gold masters and then we should be free to install?
Weren't people expecting a new iPad mini from this, or is that another conference?
Aside from scrolling in on my browser, is there any way to watch the video in fullscreen?Keynote is up:
