Assassin's Creed - Movie Trailer

As if I couldn't take the images serious enough already. The audio with the over used heavy drop and then the rapper (later found out it's Kanye, so even worse) just sucked it bone dry.

"I am a gaaaahhhh"

"Even though I'm a man of gaaaaahhhh"

"My whole life in da han uh gaaaahhhhh"

"ya'all beduh quit Playin' wit gah!"

He got paid more than most of us on this page will make in a lifetime (probably combined) for these four genius lines of poetry.

My thoughts exactly.

Movie looked ok.

I'm looking forward to watching this, I hope it tells a good portion of the story since I never played the games. And I hope it stands alone and doesn't set up for a sequel that will likely never happen...

Awful music if you can call it that, but the trailer wasn't bad.

Considering a perm ban bet that there is gonna be a sequel hook.

Trailer was surprisingly good, looks way better than I thought it would. But that song, doesn't fit all.

It didn't look terrible, but it didn't look all that interesting either. Though to be honest I've never really been a fan of AC so perhaps it's just not going to be my thing.

What really blew me away though was the music! I mean, it takes some real stones to Rhyme "God" with "God", but to do it a total of four times in succession?! Truly, an artisan wordsmith for the ages!

Outside of the context of video games, the set-up explanation sounded really ridiculous. Maybe they should've tried to NOT do that in trailers. I dunno about the rest. I didn't like Macbeth, but who knows how this movie is going to turn out. That said, I'm moderately confident that the vidyagaemz' industry "perfect" rotten streak isn't going to be broken by this movie.

It's not a matter of liking the music or not. I mean, the music is absolutely terrible, don't get me wrong, but the bigger issue is that it doesn't fit the tone of anything that they show in the trailer, or in fact anything that has ever been done with the Assassin's Creed franchise period.

AC trailers have had plenty of electronic-inspired music, and this track is pretty much that, plus rapping.

I didn't mind the music at all myself, barely even noticed it. Actually it does sound like it fits the self-serious and brooding tone of the trailer.

This trailer left an awful impression, not even Yeezus or Fassbender will save this. I hope I'm wrong, but everything about this trailer was weird in the worst possible way.

Sooo im guessing since its taking place in the Spanish Inquisition that they aren't going to use Altair since he is from the crusades.

This is funny

came in the thread for the kanye hate. was not disappointed.

people, particularly demographics like hardcore gamers, can be quite predictable.

Nothing about that trailer gave me a reason to hate it. I don't listen to Kanye but the song didn't bother me.

The only thing that was weird to me was that giant robot animus arm holding Fassbender. I guess it reads his mind and knows his elevation when he's climbing? That's weird.

I really didn't mind the music, and as expected it looks pretty well directed, but I'm worried that the story will be as clunky and dull as the games'. Cotillard looks pretty bored too.

Looks like AC at least; I hate it when movies ignore the source material. That said, I hate AC and I have zero interest in it. I just wanted to say how ridiculous the poses in the trailer looked, does anyone even like those? They serve no purpose, so many movies use them and they never work, they just look silly as all hell.
