I've been on a media blackout since after last year's E3 and this has been one of my most anticipated games so far this generation. I loved the last two games and I'm really hoping this one stacks up. I do wish they kept Scarecrow's original voice but from what little I heard, I'm sure I'll get used to it. Sure is. I usually buy stuff from Amazon UK (I'm in Ireland), works out at about €55 maybe for a physical copy. €69.99 for a digital copy.

Yes. If you go to the Options on the application, you can view the info and see the rest of the download progress.

I don't think it will work until the official US launch. Even if you are on your EU account it still recognises that the game was bought from the US store. I buy my games there and even on EU account I can play the games on Tuesdays instead of Fridays.

This. My VPN softether is so slow. It's going to take longer to unpack than it's going to take to wait till it releases here.

Correct. Switch steam over to offline mode and then disconnect from VPN. Sometimes doing this messes with achievements on Steam but if so, they usually populate all at once once you transition back to online mode.
