Battlefield 6 launches around the world on October 10, 2025 at 8 a.m. PT (5 p.m. CET). All regions will be able to access the game at the same time worldwide:

Prior to Battlefield 6's worldwide launch, Battlefield Studios will deploy a patch update that is required to play the game. Unless you have auto-updates enabled on your platform (by default), make sure you download that patch manually for a smooth launch day experience.

After the release of 2042 i said it to myself... never gonna buy a DICE game ever again on release, yet here we are :D

In my defense, the beta was the most polished thing from DICE i've ever seen and it was so fun to play

I did not said you were saying the launch game was free... i was talking about what you said about season 1, like is a big deal or generous what they are doing...

From my experience, the less maps at launch in battlefield the better. They are huge and take ages to learn even the basic flows and areas of interest. The less you are swamped with initially, the better.

A steady rate of new maps keeps things fresh.

This isn't COD.

Like I said its launching with map counts inline with previous titles. You know what content you are getting for the price due to my handy OT, shit that comes after is free.

I don't think we will be getting reviews tomorrow. Useless anyway as we all know what we are getting. Unless they have been playing full matches against a wide pool of players their experience wont be indicative of the full release.
 
Nice OT. Really hyped for Friday.

Kind of went back and forth on the beta but ended up really enjoying it in the end. Teammates were incredibly dumb at first (probably came from CoD) but it eventually felt great when people started to play as a team. Not sure if SBMM kicked in or what.

Hopefully the campaign delivers. Also really excited for the BR whenever it launches.
 
The release time is all the more baffling now copies are out in the wild and it turns out the servers are live.

Just release it at midnight you shits.

I played dota with a guy recently who was using weather spoons WiFi, it wasnt good.
 
I hope they add a PSVR2 mode in the future. Me and my brothers are very excited with this game because it has that BF3 and BF4 feel to the game. We enjoyed those two BF games in the past.
