Holy shit, the fucking hate for DkS2 on GAF makes me want to jump off the balcony.

I had to force myself to continue playing it.
It was THAT bad! The last time that happened was when I bought Starhawk on tthe PS3.

I wish the bloodborne trailer where it was called beast souls was still on YouTube. That's the best gameplay trailer Ive seen all year. Plus it's a fitting way to start the Gamescom hype train

You mean the leaked one without sound?
This one?

Honestly, it doesn't look much better or different than Demons' Souls and Dark Souls, so I'll pass until it's free on PS Plus or really cheap (19.99 or less).

My most anticipated game outside of No Mans Sky. I am a part of the Demons Souls > all others crowd. None of the other ones grabbed me and kept me going as long as Demons. It was the archdemons, the world tendency system, the insanely good Boss ( for the most part ) design and level design, etc. It just felt like it had all of Miyazaki's love and attention and everything went into it.

Now again, Bloodborne looks like it is taking this genre, this style of game in a new direction with the visuals that we have been drooling about since that fake DK2 trailer, but now its real! The game looks to have a visual flare in the character designs and weaponry, and according to Miyazaki the whole city you are in is designed around the idea of the Tower of Latria. Everything shown and said about this game so far is just so fuckin good.

So yeah this is me right now waiting on more Bloodborne

The game is too dark and grotesque for a white console, Bloodborne needs a pitch-black PS4 bundle.
Made out of that super-black material our science wizards invented that only reflects like 0.000000000000000001% of light or some unearthly number.

"Why is there a hole to the nether on your desk and why is it shaped like a PS4?"

The stream is dark/crushed as hell. The game is definitely not that dark on my TV. But fun that they're doing this!

My first death post Vanguard right there. Fun times.

You died to the Vanguard? That boss was a cakewalk, man. ;)

I did start playing this right after completing DkS though, so I was already very much in the Souls state of mind. I did die a few times to that knight though.

Nah, not that one haha. I said "Aram, tell Justin to use his goddamn magic xD" because the dude picked a Royal yet struggles to kill dreglings with his rapier.

Oh lol. The guy rarely uses magic. Apparently is conserving it.

Yeah. In my first play through, I spent ages trying to kill that guy and eventually gave up. The came back to him after a few levels and wrecked him and felt so good.

I'm in the same boat, really hyped for both No Mans Sky and Bloodborne.

Very glad that Bloodborn gets released pretty early in 2015 but i have a feeling that we are going to have to wait a long time for No Man's Sky sadly.

Gah, he attacked the NPC. I understand that the Souls games are a constant struggle of life and death, but it annoys me when people just indiscriminately attack everything they see. That guy was clearly not aggressive.

Could they have picked a more generic title than Bloodborne?
Yes. Almost every game out there has the word "Blood" or "Borne" in it.

wat

to be fair if its that merchant, he is a dregling and is identical to the enemies he fought earlier.

I haven't played Dark Souls 2, firstly because of the negative things I've heard about the game and secondly because Bloodborne is releasing soon and I can just wait for DS2 price to drop while I enjoy playing that.

It just stopped being a priority.

lol whole stream and he could not beat 1-1. NICE.

If I ask enough on twitter maybe they will make the Demons Souls remake on PS4. God I would love that. 1080p x 60fps with an enhanced lighting engine. Would be glorious

No, it's that guy who stands on a ledge overlooking a yard full of enemies. He asks you to help him fight them or something, and then he keeps killing dudes in the level. He looks very different from the regular enemies, just stands there, and this guy instantly backstabbed him. Went fine after that though, guess you can't make him hostile.

EDIT:

He's lucky Ostrava didn't turn hostile. Hah.

That's the one. So he can get hostile?

That was actually entertaining, rally liked the nice tidbits and info from Aram and Justin's inane decisions and mistakes haha

This session is recorded right?
