...and is an original IP using the company's impressive EGO engine, seen in racers like Race Driver: GRID and Colin McRae: DiRT as well as the recent Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.

Yeah, these kinds of games don't age well.Kimosabae said:Due to all the talk regarding Black recently, I purchased it on Live for 20 dollars (I remember being impressed by the demo last gen) - biggest waste of money in a long time for me.

Headshot
Double Kill
Multikill
Fraged
Rocket Jump
I actually wouldn't mind the last one though.

Prove me wrong Black. Prove me wrong.

Yeah, pretty much. It has the same director and with a name like Bodycount its reasonable to expect it to be an FPS in a similar style.JasonMCG said:So is this a "sequel" to Black? I thought Black was planned as a trilogy...? Whatever - still interested so long as there is a PS3 version.
Danne-Danger said:Was hoping that this would be the highly anticipated Bodycount of Monte Cristo.
Ranger X said:Awesome! If they have productions values as high as Black (in context for this gen) than I'll be super happy.
Might be an alien but Black is my favorite FPS last gen. I loved it because it was pure gun porn. Shooting, stuff break, explosions, a mindless and visceral experience. Since can't care less about multiplayer, the fact it was missing didn't make a dent on my experience.
So I hope this new game is mindless shooting. I'm a Doom son and it's really hard to please my FPS taste theses days with all those fancy almost story-based shooters, realistic war games and such bullshit.

The personality is what keeps him from being a lame ripoff.
Ranger X said:I just mean I wish for a game that isn't cheaply made. Also, Black wasn't broken at all for me it was simply awesome. And given a game is good, it quite automatically becomes even better if there's better production values (better visuals, better sounds, more polish, etc)
Black was not broken. It was a fully functional and awesome FPS game.Burger said:Black was broken, and a waste of time.
It locked up on me three different times. It was also pretty glitchy. Yeah, broken I say.Mush said:Black was not broken. It was a fully functional and awesome FPS game.
To each his own :/
God I wish this game was not canceled it looked really good and interesting like NOLF.Bleepey said:I'll buy this game purely for the name, i have not fealt this way about a name since:

I've played through countless times and have never experienced any issues that can't be blamed on anything else but my aging PS2 phatty. Maybe I'm just lucky?Aaron said:It locked up on me three different times. It was also pretty glitchy. Yeah, broken I say.
