i still think Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare was one of the most enjoyable and balanced first person shooters ever to be released. while i enjoyed Modern Ware 2 and Black Ops, both were not nearly as satisfying nor balanced. haven't played any of the other Call of Duty games from the 7th generation. would love to get back into a Call of Duty game that was back to the basics while adding new ideas. as always, color me interested.

That's what I thought after I played MW3, then I played Ghosts.

These games just keep getting shittier and shittier somehow. A monkey could design better maps.

Sigh. I hope this is different in the setting. We knew it was fake the moment we read it but it was at least interesting to entertain the idea of a WWI version of the game.

I'd rather go back in time at this point than go forward. Haven't the last 2 games been future-ish now (I didn't get ghosts so I can only remember screenshots of that game)?

I don't care if the gameplay is the same and the core systems stay very similar. That's fine, COD is great at its heart. I'm just tired of firing the same exact guns with an extra letter added to their name in nearly the exact same locations. I was really hoping they'd let this developer be the far out 'fantasy' COD. Like steampunk 30's or a 'what if the Nazi's had won' sort of deal.

Hopefully the extra mode (zombies, spec ops, whatever was in ghosts) will be good in this. Something wave defense would be fine.

I'm personally down for a futuristic COD, hope all the guns are fake so they can be creative and crazy. My guess is most will be real though.

Edit: Maybe the exoskeleton suits mean more damage required for a kill? Personally I think that would be a fantastic and much needed change.

Ha, I thought for a second there they were doing away with the bullshit and actually calling it 'Call of Duty 2014'. It wouldn't surprise me though, would work like FIFA or Madden.

Stop the futuristic stories already, return to WW2 with a proper game engine running on next gen/PC only. I can't be the only one thinking this, I dislike everything that has to do with sci-fi stuff (Titanfall, BO2 etc.) EXCEPT for Star Wars! Bring on SW Battlefront already. At the very least give me a present day WW3 but don't ruin it the way Infinity Ward ruined it.

What are they even going to do with exoskeleton suits that wont make them look like copycats due to Titanfall. They should rather add a coop campaign again, that's part of the reason WaW is one of my favorite CODs.

Well, I don't care.. I don't care. I'd really love to have another WaW or BO1 running on a new engine with different gameplay/game style but I don't see it happening. Didn't even bother with Ghosts, got MW3 for a few bucks from some website and BO2 was a gift. Stopped caring after BO1 which shares the top spot next to WaW in my ranking, after BO1 and WaW I have COD2 on spot 3, then a lot of free/empty spots.

Sure it was if you like your maps with a dozen side paths for braindead SMG runners to shoot everyone in the back and all with conveniently placed headshot glitching barrels. That game also had an atrocious netcode. CoD is just horrible now, the last three have been the three worst in the series.

I was doing that earlier, but went only up to 13.

If anyone can mesh all those photos together into a single picture, we may get something more visible.

Quite enjoyed Ghosts, not as good as Black Ops 2 but a lot better than MW3 in my book, I think the download maps were so much better than the ones that shipped with the game though. I think this is a critical title for the franchise and being in the hands of a new dev could go either way.

Same here man, last time for me. And i don't think there gonna do something for the PC version. I for see another narrow FoV less graphic options..also no dedicated servers unlike what Treyarch did with Black Ops 2.

Looking forward to it. I'm in the minority I suppose, but I really liked Ghosts, though admittedly I never touched the SP. Ghosts had beautiful graphics in some levels, but average ones in other, so hopefully this one is more consistent
