So you are saying I can get Destiny's gunplay without having to actually play Destiny? Sold. but really thank you. I was hoping they didnt do away it but the classes made it sound like they did.

OP, you put the same weapon/ability on both Nomad and Battery. Battery should have War Machine for the weapon and Kinetic Armor for the ability.

PC owners will receive a code from 24 August to access the beta, which runs from 26 to 30 August 2015.

Specialists weapons (higher cost) charge a little slower then abilities, it also depends on your input of work.
Driftor said he was up to 2-3 supers a game got up to 4th on a 15min Dom game

The Black Ops III Beta comes out a day after Gears of War Ultimate Edition (on Xbox One), so I don't think I will spend much time on the beta. 90% will be spent on Gears :).

Those specialist abilities are verrrrry similar to another Activision game that a lot of people love/love to hate.

Fucking ridiculous PC and XB1 has to wait. And being a long time PC gamer it is even more aggravating these supposed "Beta" games last only a few days. Just give us the shit already.

So I put that code in my cod account I guess? I linked both my accounts (psn, XBL) and put in both codes to the website. When do I get my codes for the actual beta?

After the beta code is redeemed via CoD website, on the 19th (PS4) or 26th (Xbox/PC), you will get an email with another code you redeem on the PS Store/Xbox Marketplace/Steam.

So I pre-ordered on Amazon and got a code.

Now the COD website keeps redirecting me to the login page. Once I got in to enter the code, but then it redirected me yet again to the login page.

If I just lost my code because of this shitty website, I'm gonna be pissed.

This Beta token will allow you to download the Beta from the platform you have designated in the registration process."

I have one. I log in and it goes back to the login page! I know it's not a wrong password because it does log in once per five times, lets me enter a beta code and... boots me back to login page.

edit: That was quite many tries, but now it told me I'm in! The site must be getting hit by lots of people so close to the beta.

Pre-order and cancel when the beta ends. AFAIK this worked with Destiny but i cannot remember how and it's probably only possible in EU. IIRC its something about them not being allowed to take your money until release date or something? Not sure.

I did this with Destiny but only to pre-load the beta. I had a code from another retailer already but PSN pre-orders would let you pre-load, so i pre-ordered the game, downloaded the beta and canceled my pre-order.

Do it with US Amazon, they will take no money until it ships. The beta code is not region specific, the COD site asks for your region when you use the code.

I just tried this since i found my old fake amazon.com account with zip codes and all. Ordered it with standard shipping but it canceled because it couldn't charge my card.. What gives?

This Activision website is giving me headaches!

I got my code, logged into my account, which I have since COD 4. Now it says I need to confirm my email address. I click re send email, and get an error "[OBJECT, OBJECT]".

I'm afraid to insert my code and never actually receive the download code. :(

Less than a week to test? I really don't understand why they don't run these betas up until a month of release while patching shit to make sure Day 0 stuff isn't broken shit.

They want to test but they're also trying to hook people into wanting more. If you give them a month and they've had their fill, you lose sales

guys get the PlayStation app so that when you get the beta code sent to you at 12 pm pacific, get the code and put it into the app and if you left your PS4 on rest mode you can make your PS4 start downloading the beta if your not at your house or at work

Let's just hope I actually receive the email, since the website still refuses to let me confirm it.

I haven't been following the COD series for a long time, but this specialist class system sounds really cool. Preordered on Amazon just so I can try it out.
