As someone who has played from COD4 up until now, this is probably the worst multiplayer experience I ever had. Mainly playing as a rusher, all these maps seem to cater to anyone with silencers and campers who just sit there all day. Maps are way too huge for a 6v6 match and everything looks the same. The atmosphere of every map is just sad and depressing. Whoever had the idea of weapons with a built in silencer should be fired. Just promotes more camping.
You can't run around like an mindless rusher, but you can play aggressively. Use SitRep to identify where people are likely camping near IEDs. Use stuns to approach building. Try Recon, so you know where they are in the room if you stun them. There are tons of ways to get into each location, and someone just camping a window or ledge will get shot in the back if they don't play smart.
Some of the multiple entrances/exits plus Amplify do penalize movement, so you will probably see more corner camping in this game, though. For people that are afraid to move, you will see corner camping. I agree corner camping is very bad, but most players don't do this. Probably because it's just not fun.
It's still possible to run around and you just have to play more tactically. With the huge maps, part of the challenge to rush is actually penetrating the zone that is being protected (unless you just spawn there[...]). That's not a bad thing. Not every CoD has to appeal to the SMG/akimbo machine pistol crowd. This is a different game.
Perks seems like they do nothing. Quickdraw and ready up seem completely worthless compared to MW2, or Black Ops 2. I literally can't enjoy my playstyle because these perks have been reduced to nothing.
The perks have been tested and they have an effect.
Im alright with the fact that the tactical insertion is gone but the spawns... This game has the worst spawns compared to any other game. Why do I spawn near them? Why do I spawn behind them? Why do they spawn behind me?
Agreed, the spawns are awful. There's no sense to them on large maps.
SAT COMS are probably the most worthless alternative to a UAV. Why is it ground based? Who makes these decisions? Why isn't there a counter SAT COM/UAV?
Why
not have them ground-based? Why does it have to be like it was before?
The SatComs are both nerfed and buffed. By being ground-based, they're way harder to shoot down from the sky. Of course, by needing two of them for a good sweep, it requires teamwork (or at least wait until your teammate puts one down).
There are perks that counter SatComs (Off The Grid) and use your opponent's SatComs to your advantage (WireTap). There's also a Counter SatCom that destroys all enemy ground equipment called Ground Jammer in the Support Package.
Just because it's different doesn't make it worse.
