The format is weird. It's mostly one shots than full arcs. I usually tell people just start from the start and work your way from there.
All I've read is the first issue, and the Family Album trade, which contains I don't know what because DC does the collected editions so weird.
Even worse, a lot of the volumes are now out of print.
Argh. Makes me sad. All the stuff I've read is really excellent and I've been wanting to read more for a long time.

Started Alias vol.3. The panel structure is interesting in this. There are no panels really. It's like just three images with text. It sort of reminds me of a script just with the dialogue. Jonah Jameson is a wild one and I'm curious what Jessica is really doing here.

I just thought of an alternate take on Secret Empire. Instead of this big conflict that drags in every other comic, make it a *secret*. Have only a few heroes know that Cap is Hydra and they decide they need to take him out without everyone knowing. Maybe to protect the legacy of what he meant or something. No big fights, just a chess match to try and corner him. More death note than civil war.
I think it would have worked as a smaller event.

That...could be good. I wonder if it'll be Van Sciver + Sharp alternating art because that could be a fantastic mix.
He's also a cool person who spontaneously helped push my friend's car out of a snowbank last winter. I didn't even realize he was working on something for Young Animal, but that sounds amazing!

I swear sometimes comic sales confuse the hell out of me, Luke Cage who recentlys been a main character in a featured tv series is below gen x, jean grey/iceman solo series and the superwoman series???
EDIT - Maybe Luke Cage fans buying defenders series and can't afford to double dip with marvel prices?
Well when you spend all your effort not promoting these comics it's what happens. Like US Avengers got absolutely nothing out of tying into Secret Empire.
