As a dark-skinned black guy, I’ve been ridiculed about my complexion pretty much my entire life, from as early as elementary school. At age 30 now, I can’t lie and say I don’t still feel people think this type of shit about me behind my back, just as they make “lighthearted jokes” about it to my face.
