Man i just hoped we would have a release date.
I want the game so bad. What a shame it dosen't have a coop. Hope TLOU2 will.
Source please?New demo of the same area in a few weeks.
Yeah they doing what UC4 didSource please?
Remidns me of Uncharted 4 Behind closed door full demo at E3 2015 that they released after the E3 trailer
https://blog.us.playstation.com/2017/06/12/how-and-why-youll-fight-to-survive-in-days-gone/If youre at E3, stop by the PlayStation booth to get a look at an alternate version of our gameplay demo. We changed up the time of day, the weather, and the dynamic events, and Deacon uses a completely different strategy to take on the Marauder camp, this time going in with guns blazing. For those of you who cant make it to E3, dont worry: in the next few weeks well be uploading that gameplay video as well.

Love the use of the horde(swarm?) to take out camps. I'm hyped for this.
Gaf seems to be liking Spider-Man, God of War and the SoTC remake just fine.
I think it honestly might just be the zombie genre fatigue that are hitting a number of people here.
I was just laughing at how bad the hordes and even humans were at being able to detect a grown ass dude moving like 10 feet away because he was crouched or behind a small bush
This shoot my hype right up to number 2 most wanted first party game after GoW.
Of course SoTC can't be rated.
Right its not like their a alot of ways a human can do stealth.Hiding in bushes to sneak isn't a mechanic in itself.
It's important to have clear grammar in big, photo-realistic worlds like this.
Bushes/grass just happen to be good at consistently communicating "you can hide here", while still blending with the environment art in a convincing/non-intrusive way.
I mean... I understand the complaint that it's a bit overused, but I don't think it's as ridiculous as a lot of people are making it sound.
Besides, it seems like the sort of game where you don't have to use any stealth if you don't want to. There may also be other methods which we don't know about (but doubtful, as it's not a stealth action game per se).
I don't agree the zombie horde has been done. Dead Rising is very different to thisLooks competent.. but seems a bit "generic" and every part of the game seems to have been done before..
TLOU-setting - check
TLOU-gameplay on foot - check
Cinematic TLOU inspired presentation - check
Also stuff from other similiar games
Dead Rising Zombiehorde - check
Gruff character - check
Ubi-type open world (?)
Frankly it is wierd this is from the same publisher as TLOU? Just doesn´t really seem to have its own identity. At least what they have shown
I wonder what the game structure is like? Is it open world with mission icons? I that case - meh. I hope the game is really open ended with story and cutscenes playing a really minor part - sadly cutscenes seems to be a big part and that makes the game less open

What's the selling point for this game?
It looks very very generic without a standout thing.
still feel pretty apathetic towards this

Yeah this one of the coolest aspects. For me Day's Gone is Day One
The Zombear looks awesome and I like how you can use the hordes to your advantage against other enemies and they are not just something that attacks only you.
https://blog.us.playstation.com/2017/06/12/how-and-why-youll-fight-to-survive-in-days-gone/The bad news with Freakers is that Runners, Ragers, Swarms and Hordes want to kill you and eat you. The good news: they also want to kill and eat Marauders. Last year you saw Deacon running for his life from a Horde; this year, you see him using a Swarm as a weapon against a Marauder camp. The possibilities are almost endless and are an important part of our strategic sandbox combat.
