The nostalgia factor would be much higher for me if the system could actually play original Playstation game discs. Shame the 20th anniversary didn't occur during the PS3 era since the console can play PS1 discs.
That dude that made the PS4 hard drive covers with the PS1/PS2 mock-ups was a genius, I'd take a freakin fancy hard drive cover even. But I agree, being able to get one of these limited systems easily at a store would be great too.
I bought 5 Xbox 360s last gen(due to failure), and if my PS4 dies I'll just go buy another one too. Hopefully there'll be gray ones easily available by then.
350 que estarán disponibles en España, deberéis pujar por ella mediante la subasta benéfica que se celebrará los próximos días 12, 13 y 14 de diciembre
There are currently 324 auctions for 20th Anniversary PS4s on ebay alone (=more than most countries will receive in total). All by Americans, who were the only ones who had a chance to buy these consoles so far.
Well done, Sony, well done!
A fairer way to would have been to GLOBALLY select PSN members (one max per registered PlayStation device) at random and then send out invitations to buy the 20th Anniversary edition. Giving only some people a chance to buy these consoles directly simply because they happen to live in the right place is extremely unfair.
