The trailer is not that bad, where the game looks really unpolished was that short gameplay demo they showed after the trailers. It was a combo of bad graphics, and a terrible player demoing the game.

Amazing gameplay? Did we watch the same videos? There's every single type of action you might do in an action game, yes, but all done poorly. That's not amazing, that's just stupid. There's no cohesion, and nothing looks fun or satisfying. Just a mess of content all checking off a different checkbox. That's not the focused and intelligent game design I've experienced from Itagaki with Ninja Gaiden at all.

Doesn't look as stylish or punchy as it used to, looks more like a conventional TPS, but I have faith in Itagaki, and if RE4, RE6 and Vanquish have taught me anything, it's that Japan puts the West to shame when it comes to TPS mechanics.

I think it looks like an early 360/PS3 generic shovelware shooter, is frankly ugly in terms of both graphics and art direction, and Itagaki has a reputation for quality which precedes him so this comes as a big shock

It's a good buy right now.

$320 for system with Mario Kart 8 and a free digital game, and a motion + controller.

2 new games, and a controller. It won't be better than that.
