Generally, when people think big budget on GAF, they tend to think of big productions like Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, or Final Fantasy XV if we use an SE example. I've seen plenty of occasions where posters refer to titles like Knack or MLB as small releases. Those games look pretty good though, and it's not like the budget behind them is weak or extremely lacking, even if they don't have the kind of investment that major tentpole releases have. There's this huge middle ground that everyone ignores.
