Funny episode.

And wow they are going fast into FnF.

Goku and his teleport was probably the funniest thing he has done so far.

I like the voices of Vados and Champa.

Next Week Frieza is already back apparently. Fast indeed !!

Another month or so and then the new arc !

There was a scene in the preview with Freeza seemingly destroying a random planet. I guess we might see some bits of his training...

I think they are going way too fast. I don't want this show to end. Would want more stalling.

It has barely started. We're just retreading the movie's story right now. That really shouldn't be the point of the show.

Watched the first few episodes and between luke warm reaction and knowing it was going to retread decided to let it build up some episodes.

From scanning the thread it seems like people are reasonably happy with the show now? It did enough to validate going back over the movies? Just curious where general opinion is at.

The "filler" parts is mostly what justify this show's existence.

The worst parts are in between the 'original' first episodes and pre-Beerus fight. A lot of the changes in the party weren't really funny and made the pilaf gang's inclusion pointless. The Goku and Beerus fight on King Kai's planet was the worst fight so far.

The final two episodes of the Beerus battle had pretty good animation, and the transition episodes to RoF have been more humorous and eventful than the ones leading to BoGs in the beginning of the show - although if serious characters being humiliated bother you, you'll probably really dislike them.

I am actually very excited for this show! Sure, as many have said, the beginning was rough as they were trying to work out the kinks about what to put in the show (I mean, Pilaf and his gang. That is all that needs to be said).

But the last 6 or 7 episodes have been quite entertaining, especially the new content. And seeing that they will continue to add stuff to help lead up to the original storyline after Frieza, it looks like it will continue to be good!

After subs, what a great episode.

This show has been on a great streak.

The teleport just cracked me up, such a nice throwback at cell.

Interesting. We have reached RF and they still haven't addressed Vegeta's God transformation. I think the arc will be longer than we think, but it'll have new content in between (like the preview we saw of Frieza seemingly destroying a planet).

He's not a god.

The ritual allowed him to feel god ki, Whis' training allowed him to push himself beyond his realm. Whis said that feeling god ki was the first step.

Also, no it won't be longer "than we think", we have the titles of the episodes, and FnF is gonna be over in about a month and a half.

I really think SSGSS will be classified as weaker then the SSG, think its a step someone can attain without the ritual to make them almost equal to SSG

The manga said that Super saiyan Blue is stronger than super saiyan god.

Basically, Whis teaches them not to be "gods" but to use that godly ki, and to be much stronger without transforming.

Beerus isn't a super saiyan and he did get stronger thanks to Whis, it does make sense to me.

And I'd assume other people can also become stronger.

Vegeta managed to reach SSG Goku's level in 6 months. Without being a god himself.

That makes absolutely no sense at all. Why would Goku not turn into red head anorexic form when fighting Freiza were that the case? I ain't even following this shit show but I dunno, would seem quite silly but then again Toriyama don't give a fuck. Were your theory true though, you would have to wonder why Vegeta helped that retard turn god when he or his poorer than poor family could not return the favour.

Vegeta better turn into god soon though, I check in every week and it's just filler shit. :(

This episode great, Vegeta and Goku training together,Champa,Beerus sleeping, Chi Chi finally gets what she deserves for being a control freak, Whis and that fish talking, etc. They could easily make one or two moré episodes of training and they would be entertaining enough instead of going fast through RoF .

"But you stepped in some poop!" got me even the second time, after the movie.

Handing the exploding ball thing to Whis was pretty funny. And Whis being all "I ain't even mad".

Yeah I will be complete shocked and confused I am correct about it lol

I want to see SSG Vegeta also

I thought there were only titles released for up to episode 20?

This isn't filler at all. Whis stepped into the poo. Next Week Freezer is already back.

22.

A rumor says Ginyu is coming back by the way. Which is of course stupid because Namek exploded, but hey... I think it's based off some filler where he followed Bulma or something ? No clue.

And episode 21 is Gohan versus the main army. So it went rather fast.

This episode had that most suspenseful moments of Super thus far.

I have a feeling the army fight episodes are going to suck. I don't like the idea in concept, but RoF pulled it off in a decently fun way. Hopefully it will at least be on par in Super.

Judging by the intro, Goku and Vegeta will be present during the fight with Frieza's army.

Ginyu didn't die when Namek blew up he got transferred back to earth as a frog.

No, the episode 22 description says Tagoma has a "body power up" like Ginyu or something like that.

EDIT: Nevermind, it says Tagoma changes bodies with Ginyu to power up.

SSJGSS being weaker or equal to SSJG seemed possible in the movies. It was stated that Goku only kept part of the SSJ God power, and the line about "SSJ with the power of a SSJ God" could be interpreted as SSJGSS being at best as strong as SSJ God. However, Super's changes make it clear that it won't be the case here. It was stated that Goku kept all the power of the SSJGod form (at least in SSJ), so SSJGSS has to be above that. This episode also made it clear that Whis is training them to allow them to reach an even greater level than before.

They addressed it this episode, it just wasn't what people expected. Rather than a ritual, Vegeta just underwent 6 months of training under Whis which allowed him to reach the level of Goku with God ki absorbed, maybe even surpass him, and he can also feel God ki now.

The ritual allowed him to feel god ki, Whis' training allowed him to push himself beyond his realm. Whis said that feeling god ki was the first step.

I thought the ritual had allowed him to feel God Ki during Goku vs Beerus, but I don't think that's really the case anymore. Vegeta couldn't feel Whis' ki before his training, just his lack of ki. So, Vegeta being able to feel Whis' ki this episode is due to his training.

No, before his training in episode 16 he could suddenly sense Whis's Ki, but couldn't explain what he felt.
It wasn't that he sensed a lack of Ki in episode 16, it's that it felt like "a Ki without Ki".
His training has made it so he can properly sense God Ki.

I was thinking about Ginyu the entire time in RoF since he is on Earth. Glad they're doing something with that since he hasn't been seen since.

Tagoma was sent flying into the void of Space by Freeza though, he never made it back to earth after summoning shenron.

Also, Ginyu on earth is pure filler from the anime.

He died when namek exploded in the manga.

And Vegeta could see/feel God Goku and Beerus. He refused to watch through the crystal ball. Just not good enough, but he was on the way.

They could easily just rewrite it in Super so Freeza doesn't kill him.
Porunga said he transported EVERYONE on Namek to Earth except Goku and Freeza in the manga.

Toriyama, just fuck off buddy and fix that lazy fucking DQ design while you're at it.

This "filler shit" is way more enjoyable than that long ass Beerus vs Goku fight. The stuff with Beerus previously, and the Frieza stuff now, is anticlimatic with the movies out. We know the outcomes. Maybe I could get excited about them powering up in a new arc, but for now the most enjoyable aspects of the show has been eveything except the big fight we saw... Although, I should mention that the one or two episodes of the Beerus and Goku fight was good.

Anyway, really good episode. Love the Goku and Vegeta scenes, and Whis is a great character.

I think it's significant how fast Vegeta was able to move, intercept, and kick Goku into a wall after Bills knocked him aside in his sleep. That was someone flying with the velocity of getting swatted by a god.

Come on, Toriyama, do the right thing and give Vegeta some of the good kills rather than making him the pre-fight as always.

Suddenly, champa and rule 63 whis out of nowhere, and then they're gone, maybe they will bump into fieza along the way and train him.

Their explosion went past Freizas lackeys, I think they'll investigate and find Champa first and then something something golden Freiza.
