Some of those shots are fucking horrible in this episode. I haven't seen anything that trashy up until now in Super.

What is up with animation studios that seem to provide more effort in shitty filler episodes than in episodes where important stuff happens? One of the worst examples I can think of the episode when Vegeta fought 18. Good god, that was absolutely hideous.

Hey, at least it took till episode 5 before we got an episode that looks like shit, too bad it had to be the first fight in the series....

Hopefully it looks like this because they are diverting budget to the Super Saiyan God fight.

Episode 4 was awful, and 1-3 were very unimpressive.

Its a shame that this looks to be the kind of quality you can expect from this show unless it becomes a huge hit and the budget goes up .... and even then it wont be very high, hell, the new movies are pretty average looking (well, if you compare them to other anime movies, they look like garbage)

Episode 8 is when Goku stops Beerus on Earth and episode 9 is the start of the God battle, we have no idea about the episodes after that point right now, the God battle could last a few episodes.

Holy shit just finished watching the episode. The most boring episode so far. And the ugliest. What the hell was that animation mostly during the SS 1 and 2 segments wtf. Hope they can cover everything we saw on the BoG movie quickly so we can get into the actual brand new stuff with brand new characters and everything. Looking forward for the next episode!

That's true for shows that are focused on advertising DVD/Blu-Ray. That's not the case with Super, so it won't necessarily happen.

Still though, I've been catching a handful of Kai episodes, and the quality of drawings in the original animation are suprisingly solid.
