So is it scam or legit and if it is legit how do I get in?
Well, I didn't sign up for anything. I have an Origin account, and EA just randomly emailed me (assuming it's legit). The email was strange, because it didn't say it was for Titanfall. It was kind of mysterious and was like "Get access to an exclusive Alpha Test for an upcoming Xbox One Title" (Or just see OP).
And so my friend who is staying with me also got this email. He clicked it, and it took him to the official Titanfall site. However, it asked him to sign in to his Origin account (this is why I and others thought it was a Phishing scam). Once he logged in, he was able to fill out the form and submit it (the form that was on the official Titanfall site).
Currently, the verdict is up in the air. It sort of seems like a scam? Yet, there seems to be a beta on the actual official site (the same one tied to the email sent out). If it's a scam, it's pretty coincidental that they happen to send it out at the same time that we find out there is going to be a beta.
Plus as another poster just said, the email user that sent the email, was also used in the Battlefield 3 Beta. So who the fuck knows.
