Yes. My only concern is that they won't try to have a more difficult main game again. But I agree, not using the FFXIII battle system again is a great choice, specially since XV seems to be great too.Yeah, but on one hand I do like for FF games to have their own feel, and at least XIII had amazingly fun combat. And we got three of those. Lightning Returns was probably the most fun I've actually had playing an RPG. It's by no means my favorite RPG ever, but it was a blast to play. It's cool to see FFXV borrowing some from XII but also implementing a more action-driven style. Hopefully they make that feel unique to FFXV.
And I absolutely want this game to be its own thing. Which is why I disagree with the "it should be more like KH" or "it should be more like Bayonetta" crowd. No, it shouldn't. I love those games (KH even more than FF), but no, FFXV should be its own thing, and it seems to be doing it great so far...
FF Type-0 you couldn't run from encounters on the world map (unless you used an expensive item).Isnt there a escape button for every random battle in FF? Could be wrong.
