A ho-hum sequel that mostly sets the stage for hopefully more scintillating future chapters.

This is is the second book, and there are three books. There aren't more chapter(s). There's one more chapter. And if the best thing you can say about the movie is that it might be setting the groundwork for a sequel that might be better, what are you trying to say? It's bad? Then say that.

Haven't read the books, resisted the first movie because I'm a Battle Royale fanboy Watched it on Netflix 6 months or so ago and liked it a lot. I liked this one a lot too, my mom liked it a lot, only wish there were more IE: hate waiting a year for part three.

That's been my problem with the final two books. Katniss is a feather brained airhead.

I really enjoyed the film. As good an adaptation as there can be, IMO.

I really disliked the first book, but I thought the movie was good adolescent fun. Looking forward to seeing this one (have not read the book).

Yeah - kids murdering eachother is good, adolescent fun.

It was very good for a young teen flick. A bit predictable and repetitive but it was worth the trip.
