I dunno man, I replayed both games recently and I stand by my opinion. Flying in m64 is clumsy as hell while I feel free to go anywhere when I fly in BK (the fact you can go higher than the place you started really helps). Same thing about swimming: I feel that i BK is more precise and way faster (especially in Tooie when you can press a+b togheter).Balb said:I love BK but you're saying it has better flying and swimming? Those two things were two huge blemishes in an otherwise incredible game.

No. Maybe five, not really played it, but not four.LeleSocho said:this is a question for the one who played it:

I agree with all of this.KevinCow said:Donkey Kong Country 2 > Mario platformers
The DKC games clearly ape a whole lot from Mario, and with DKC2, I feel like they surpassed them. So much level variety, so many cleverly hidden secrets. Plus the graphics, mindblowing from a technical viewpoint back then, but still appealing thanks to the moody design and animations that give characters a lot of personality.
And don't even get me started on the music.

Disagree, they both were similar, but in the end they had different multiplayer audience.droopy said:Call of Duty was better that Allied Assault.

Get rid of the terrible, intrusive anime story and overly long cutscenes, and instead focus on making the stealth gameplay amazing.
Instead of a black and white YOU ARE IN YOUR ENEMY'S CONE OF VISION vs. YOU ARE NOT SEEN, YOU ARE MAKING NOISE vs. YOU ARE NOT MAKING NOISE, you now have to focus on how much light you're in, and how much sound you're making. Let the player shoot out lights to help with that first one. Give the player full analog control to just hammer in that latter one. Do I want to move a tiny bit faster and risk making too much noise, or keep moving at a crawl and remain silent?
Give the player a camera actually suited for a 3D game, not an awful overhead camera designed for a 2D game.
When the player needs to know some new information, have his support tell it to him in real time while he continues to play, don't freeze the game and make me stare at an almost completely static screen while people ramble at me.
Get Michael Ironside and his inherently awesome voice to do the main character, instead of David Hayter trying way too hard to do an awesome voice.
Stuff like that.
Once you are able to aim with a mouse in RE4...god tier. Don't forget about the amazing atmosphere. RE4 is an easy choice for one of the best games ever.Relaxed Muscle said:People, no third person shooter surpassed RE4, reviewers like to talk about how old the RE4 type of gameplay we recently saw in Shadow of the Damned is, but the true is: RE4 is still unparalleled in terms of level design, weapons feel, bosses and general gameplay.
