LOL never even knew there was GIF problem until I loaded the OP.

edit: it slows down when it's trying to load the GIF, but when it's done loading it's all good. I guess I got the fix?

Still a massive improvement. Before when I used to open a bunch of threads at once from the index I'd know instantly when I'd opened a gif full one. Now no more annoyance.

I'm not sure. I re-downloaded it because I deleted it when I switched to FF.

Did you update via 'About Google Chrome'? If not, try that. And if that still doesn't work, then I'd reccomend re-downloading it.

You probably leave your instances open for weeks? I didnt have the problem either until a few weeks ago. I don't turn the PC off though and will use the same browsing instance for months even. After a restart one day I suppose it updated or something and it was terrible, now its fixed again, lol.

iirc, it worked fine for most of 2014 (and prior to that, I don't remember when it was first fixed), but there was a recent issue again the last couple of months.
