Thant pikmin background is beautifulSorry for the Microsoft Paint compressed jpg. I just turned on the taskbar color to blue a few hours ago and am just trying it out. I think it looks nice but not sure if I'll keep it.
Here's mine off the Vaio. Thanks to pungza for showing how to get rid of tiles. I kind of miss the tiles though...

still have to clean up taskbar items. haven't had a chance yet.
Usually I have simple all black wallpaper but decided to try something cool after installing win10.
How did you get the start menu like that?
Go to Settings - > Personalisation -> Start
Turn everything off, then click on 'Choose which folders appear on start' at the bottom. Turn on the ones you want.
Then right click and unpin all the tiles, and drag the right side across to remove blank space
That's from The Witcher 3.
Since I didn't want to scroll the Start Menu, I have it very low and very wide:
Apologies if this has been asked, but how do you get those game icons in the start menu? I really like how they look

Can you tell me how you got your startmenu to look like that? It looks exactly like i want it to be, basic windows 7.

Everything went smoothly apart from needing to sort my wallpapers into their own folder.
Mine's boring as piss. I have a rotating set of about 14 images from my trip to Canadialand last year.
This is my work PC, though.
how do you turn off image rotation? my screens alternate backgrounds, very annoying
Uhhh, well I have mine like this because I set it up like this in Win8.1 and it just carried it over. But from what I remember, I set that as part of a theme and by going into the Edit Theme options, I had to choose to have them cycle.
I think most of the default themes cycle, but IIRC it's entirely defined by the theme - so change the theme and you'll change that. I think.
It's a Metro app that was from Windows 8 (and still works for Windows 10) called "Pin Anything". Although it's no longer in the App store (don't know why) you can download it from the site: http://pinanything.snowydune.com/launcher/index.html
If you want something from the App Store, There's "Pin Steam" but it only allows Steam Games pinned, while "Pin Anything" lets you...Pin ANYTHING.
Do you guys prefer to use small taskbar buttons or leave the taskbar as default? It seems that the small button mode is even smaller than it used to be in windows 8 - or maybe my imagination's just playing with me?
so ghetto.. why cant they update this shit. thanks

It's Rainmeter the skin for the clock is This and the weather is This.If you don't mind my asking, how do you have the clock set up like that?
First time I ever hear referring someone to that horrible thing as "an experience"
Start Screen 4 lyfe yo.
I should really get a 21:9 monitor, that looks so nice.
Just select all files expect garbage bin and computer and put into folder "Other - Not Porn"

Nice wallpaper. Where did you get it from?
start icon is because of the start10 app, the menu itself just looks like windows 7's start menu.
desktop icons are arranged using stardock fences.

Mac users have been playing with El Capitan and iOS 9 for weeks.
So many people with the taskbar on the bottom... I will never understand it. It makes so much more sense to have it on one of the sides because screen real-estate is at less of a premium there. Make the switch and you will never go back. You will be used to it in no time at all.

Is El Capitan a big upgrade over Yosemite? Because I have a MBP with the latter as my work computer, and I frankly think W10 (and even 7) is superior in most ways.
