Im seeing a lot of ODST and H3 achievements being gotten in this thread. Are any of those helpful towards unlocking something in Reach or is it just something people are doing for fun?

Okay so seriously bros, what's the first thing your going to do once you get Reach. Campaign? Forge? Matchmaking? Campaign Matchmaking? Firefight? Firefight matchmaking ahh so many options! I think I'm going to do the first mission, then a couple TS games then maybe some forge.

Matchmaking just like with Halo 3. But this time I'll go to bed before 7am. :D

Forge and then jumping head first into legendary solo.

Campaign. I won't touch anything else until I finish the story mode. I want to finish it that day so I can spend the rest of the week on Multiplayer.

MP. Might start campaign the next day or day after on solo heroic.

For me it's campaign. After I beat that I'll probably start on Legendary and beat it solo. After that it's off to firefight and other multiplayer modes.

Probably matchmaking for about an hour then get into campaign.

I can still remember my first multiplayer matches in Halo 1 (Blood Gulch), Halo 2 (Lockout), and Halo 3 (Guardian). Which map will it be for Reach?

Solo playthrough on Heroic. Finish it completely before diving into MP.

Solo Campaign on Heroic in 1 sitting. Then I'll play multiplayer for the next 3 years or so :lol

Probably co-op campaign in Heroic all in one sitting.

Helps you avoid being spoiled and you also get a feel for the weapons/game mechanics before hopping into multiplayer. Seems like the best way to go IMO.

There will be some Reach themed unlockables on Waypoint that take into account achievement completion % of just the 3 Bungie games on the 360, so everyone is looking to have 100% on the two games already out before Reach arrives.

We have this discussion every week :lol

Anyways, I'm gonna be doing a notifications off solo campaign run on Heroic, taking it slow, soaking it all in, and making it last a few days. After I finish that, I'll boot up Forge World and play that alone for a good hour or two, messing around at will with every weapon, item and vehicle. Then watch the Theater save of that session, appreciate every detail. Then I'll link up with friends/gaffers and play the rest of the modes at random.

Since I have an 11 hour day at university on Tuesday, I'll pick it up at Midnight Monday night (into tuesday) come home, and get the avatar award for killing 100 enemies without dying in firefight, then get carters helmet avatar award (complete a legendary mission in campaign without dying, then go to sleep. Tuesday night and the rest of the week/next week I'll be plowing through on legendary racking up credits and getting solo legendary out of the way.

I get the feeling that if you can rock "all" of them you will be able to use the helmet or the star. I'm hoping it's something like that though, since there's still the combination of all of them, plus beta, pro, and odst to add on.

I'll probably buy a cheap Halo PC copy sometime between now and the release of Reach, just to get the HALO nameplate. The guy in charge of this is saying on Bnet that there won't be a new cutoff date for pc code entries, as long as a new keygen doesn't popup in the future.

Yeah, it payed to read the main page :lol I just did, now I feel like a moron. It says those two needed "extra clicks" that's why they are there, everything else is automatic.

Will tackle the campaign in one sitting as soon as I get home from picking them game up, then will sleep, and then as soon as I awake the multiplayer will steal years of my life.

I can see why that wasn't shown love but at the same time it does seem a bit weird since it does have achievements etc. Even if it was a port that maybe wasn't wanted it was still done and despite the flaws did remain true to the Xbox version I felt. Hell the texture pop in being gone alone made it worth it. lol

Works on both. 150% running speed, enhanced radar, jetpack (normal) and three plasma start. Normal swat otherwise. This is big map setting. Even with three people on Blood gulch, there is always a target and games are lightning fast.

On small maps, j-swat should be played at 100% speed with slightly enhanced radar.

Radar is required to eliminate jet pack camping and ensure constant fighting.


You will convert.
