Over at Famitsu, you can see new images showcasing 22 of IA’s costumes. Players will be able to decorate the stage and IA’s costumes (for stages where she appears in real-time), as well as the “Rhythm Markers” and “Rhythm Skins.” You’ll earn more costumes as you continue to play.

Due out on June 25 in Japan, first-print copies of the game will include a special reversible package art, the five-song “IA/03 Vision” compilation album, and a product code for the in-game IA “Gothic Fashion” costume (available in three colors).

The IA/03 Vision album includes the following tracks:

Sunday Minami Park – Ishifuro
Promenade – Monaca:Factory
Doukoku Kyuuketsuki – Yasuhiro
Shinigami no Guitar – Potential 0
Uragiri Module – Utata P

the fact that this might finally come out still boggles my mind, I lost count of the delays

I might be in on this one though

Jeez, they weren't kidding around with the 'Colorful' subtitle.

Isn't this being released on the same day as Persona 4 DAN? If so, that was a terrible decision.

Yup, they need to delay it or release it earlier, else their sale get eaten up by P4D.

Personally, looking forward to both. More rhythm games on my vita is a grand idea.

The official website also got an overhaul: http://ia-vt.marv.jp

An they also added a gameplay trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMfxgd69Brw

Seems like they got rid of the analog stick mechanic and added arrow notes instead. Should play very similarly to Project Diva now which I'm happy with (the analog stick stuff didn't seem very fun).

And before anyone wonders: The background video in the gameplay trailer are not ingame graphics. It's the official video of the song.

Thank you for posting this!
Added to the OP. :)

Man, I preordered this so long ago I forgot it even existed. At least it's coming now. Looking good, too, can't wait. Except I have waited, a long time even...

Also saying the analog mechanic is still in?
Players will use the four face buttons and analog stick to line up and “catch sound” at the right moments

Also saying the analog mechanic is still in?

I'm not so sure; seems like Gematsu used some old info there at the end.

The gameplay explanation on the official site reads as follows:

さまざまな方向から流れてくる音を 8種類のボタンを操作してキャッチ!

4種類のボタン+アナログスティックで操作するプレイスタイルを一新。「〇」 「x」 「ム」 「囗」 「十字キ一」8種類のボタンを操作して ラインから流れてくる音をタイミングよくキャッチして費でよう!

which google translate tells me means

Catch by operating the eight types of button sound coming from various directions!

The renewed play style to operate in four types of button + analog stick. "Yes", "x" "no," "囗", "cross key one" 8 kinds of the button operation get out costs to catch a timely manner the incoming sound that flows from the line to!

The sentence structure here is a bit misleading but I think it says that the "4 buttons + analog stick" system got renewed. And now we have the 8 button system. Maybe someone who speaks Japanese can chime in?

Looks like it uses the d-pad to me.

So I guess it will control exactly like Senran Kagura Bon Appétit?

That makes sense considering it's the same publisher (and maybe same developer too??).

I'd really like some clarification on the analog. @_@

It seems like it. The tweet makes sense now.

It's gonna be difficult adjusting to arrow notes just being d-pad inputs since I'm so used to Project Diva by now.
