Anyway yeah the manga dlc is readable through the game itself, nifty I guess.

Had my first online races went 2-2 for the night, seems that everyone in Japan loves keeping boost on and being much better then me.

Is it a bit easier to play for non-japanese players then the PSP version? That was a nightmare at times, especially with the card system.

Yeah its fine, after your select something theirs an English title at the top of the screen stating what the menu is actually showing you. There's also point spending on parts at the garage but its fairly linear and easy to understand by using the pictures.

I'm likely picking this up today. Can't resist Sega arcade racers. PSN tag is "Lyte Edge", but I am in J-land and probably won't get to play with most people outside of Asia. :/

I love it so far...I was pissed for a bit once I first got it since I was not used to the handling. After a bit of playing I got use to it. But if you have a wheel, USE IT! I found that I had more control with the car then when I was using the controller. I was taking turns at much faster speeds...The first TA I did with the wheel, I improved my time by 2 seconds. By the end of it, I knocked off 6 seconds on Akina. Also, I was stuck trying to beat people on LoTS, and now I finished it earlier today!

^ What he says, control is very twitchy. When I first fired it up and went with an RX7, I was dragging the thing across the road with the merest of touches. I remember drifting on the arcade version of 4th Stage (the one this is based on being easier), haven't quite managed it yet.

I went into the options and dropped the sensitivity down to low and it has helped things, albeit it's still twitchy and can take some getting used to - unless you have a wheel.

I'm too poor for one of those at the moment though. >_<

It's rather tricky. I got use to using the controller and then I got this wheel. Now I can't go back. I've already seen a video of someone beating one of the harder characters on Happo using the controller...

And I still need to figure out online battles. I'm getting paired with people who are WELL above my skill level since I use quick battle. What time do you guys usually play? We should try to organize a room sometime...

Well, nothing to make me want to get this because Special Stage pretty much cover a lot of it already. I'm just missing the shitty Lan Evo races and the God Hand, God Foot. Not worth the jump.

Online mode is another beast, trust me...It's worth the jump to get it...It's what makes this game complete.

People play racing games for the story? Really? Shit man just watch the anime/read the manga and enjoy the new features in each iteration of the game.

Really considering a gt5 driving force wheel with the ebay 25% off dealio.....havent played last two days due to tales of the abyss though.
