Well I guess it's a good thing I pre-ordered just in case.Magypsy23 said:The UK limited edition is all sold out.
Most likely. You probably get it near the beginning of the game like the Phantom Hourglass.Magypsy23 said:So basically it's the Master Train.

If I weren't currently playing Final Fantasy 2 and Metroid Prime 2, as well as NSMBWii this Sunday, I'd totally join in.beelzebozo said:i think i'm going to play WIND WAKER, and simultaneously have a game of PHANTOM HOURGLASS going on my ds. because the games fucking rule, and because in this world of technological wonder, i can.

Jangaroo said:So I'm assuming there's only going to be like 6 dungeons total, including the final dungeon, the four regular dungeons, and the Tower?
Yeah, I'm just wondering. I thought PH and MM had a sizable amount of dungeons as well. I'd say six is a pretty nice amount.zigg said:Maybe. I don't know about mini-dungeons, side dungeons, or dungeons for other purposes... they way they worded it was four that connected to the Tower.
Dungeon count hasn't bothered me personally since Majora's Mask's four proved to be awesomely perfect for that game, though. That's not to say I didn't miss Wind Waker's obviously-cut dungeons... that was a case of "there should be something here, and there's not."

Wait, Phantom Hourglass had eight dungeons? Yikes it really must have been a while; I was so sure there was less. Well, maybe Nintendo's really putting effort into the four dungeons like Majora's Mask. That'd be nice really.zigg said:Looking at my horrific useless-for-anything-else freebie Prima PH guide's TOC, it was eight including the Ocean King's.

people still trying to makes sense of the Zelda timeline?TSA said:Wait, what? Twilight Princess has a possible connection to this game now? That would completey screw things up. TLNR explanation as to why.

Nintendo tries to make it as impossible as possible by jumping hundreds of years back and forth with every game but Zelda fans don't let go so easily.Scrow said:people still trying to makes sense of the Zelda timeline?

markot said:>_< Just treat each Zelda game as a new game with new characters and no connection to the rest!
(Unless like MM and PH where they are clearly 'sequels'.)
I think it's possible for two different timeline's to have tears of light or whatever.TSA said:Wait, what? Twilight Princess has a possible connection to this game now? That would completey screw things up. TLNR explanation as to why.
Neo Child said:i wish nintendo could make a proper sequel to wind waker. like, with the world at least as big as wind waker. i mean, minish cap was more of a 'proper zelda game' than phantom hourglass.
they need it to be epic.
Um, lets not get carried away now.goomba said:I remember the overworld is PH having a lot more in it than WW.
TSA, maybe this might help you:TSA said:At least this time they explained what happened between Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, maintaining the continuity of OoT (AL) -> TWW -> PH -> ST. That's better than what they've done before with their "100 years" gaps...
This is like saying treat each Metal Gear title like a new story with new characters and no connection. This isn't honestly the most "important" thing in the world to argue about, I'll admit it, but people who are giving up or don't care (which is fine) are just being ignorant. I'd rather not derail this with overall timeline discussion, but perhaps it can't be avoided.
The following has been proven by two or more of the following: Japanese in-game text, Miyamoto/Aonuma statements, Miyamoto/Aonuma interviews, official NCL microsites.
Official NCL Young Link Timeline:
OoT (YL) - MM - TP
Official NCL Adult Link Timeline:
OoT (AL) - TWW - PH - ST
Official NCL Connections (not placed in either timeline just yet)
LoZ - AoL
TMC - FS - FSA
ALttP - LA
OoA - OoS (yes, OoA is actually first...)
From there, it's like playing one of those puzzles where 5 people are in a room, and you're trying to match up a "name" to them based on statements about each. Problem is there aren't enough official "statements" to really ink in those stragglers into the two timelines.

The upper picture is obviously Hyrule from Zelda 1, the lower picture is from Spirit Tracks.
The comparison works with some speculation, though.

im waiting for an epic OoT remake which'll have an extended ending scene showing hints to a split timeline such as links young spirit floating off to take over a body in termina to form the mm-arc and real adult link going on to become the hero of time... is that how it happened? i aint played ww in ages.
