Does he mean every single week from now on or for a limited time only?

Already own Braid and have no interest in the others mentioned =(

might force me to grab the Ninja Gaiden 2 add-on but I refuse to buy Fable as long as it doesn't include The Lost Chapters extra content

and I already own Braid :)

Proudly debt free. If you need a couple bucks, just ask.

I have a card for a free month of Gold. Will I be able to get these deals if I redeem it?

Yeah, should be able to.

Nice! I've had the Braid trial since it came out...this pushes me over the fence for sure.

also hope this is a regular thing. Every other DL service has sales, but XBL has been rather stingy on that front.

Gold members only!!! As usual proving MS sales team is dumbass.

Knowing MS there will be more crappy deals for add-on DLC than actual games.

I wish a more unknown XBLA title would get the treatment. Say Switchball, Shred Nebula, Gripshift, Band Of Bugs, Marathon, Poker Smash, Roogoo, or Happy Tree Friends.

There were cards for 30 dollars everywhere a few months ago.

If you really are that hard up I can PM you a 3 month subscription.

That's not the point. Why bother having deals on XBLM to gold members only? What are they trying to accomplish here, to get people on the border to gold so they can 'save' a few points?

I would imagine it would be to further discourage people from hording the trial codes. Obviously it's not incentive in it's own right.

why the fuck isn't the lost chapters an xbox original? i would get that right now. i dont want lame fable 1, i want fable: the lost chapters

I'm sure we can request GripShift to be considered for such a promotion. I'd be more than happy to put it on sale for a week.

Gold only? It's a shame, I would really want to buy Braid at that price. Maybe I can find a trial to use this time, but it seems strange to have deals to increase sales when only a portion of your user base can take advantage of it.

How much is 800 points?
That depends on where in the world you are.

2-Day trials don't allow you access to this stuff.

Gold cards are 29.95 or less a lot of places. Really no reason to stay Silver at this point.

I just want more people to realize it's awesome man :)

I wasn't getting any discounts before and now I am. Even if I don't take them up on most of them, I can't say I am displeased.

This forum is getting more whiney by the day.

I never play 360 games online, so it's not worth any amount of money just to get demos that I don't have to pay for on PC or PS3.

This sort of thing may be another incentive to get people to sign up to Gold, but it seems silly to pay money in order to save money.

Spending money to get money sounds equally silly when you put it like that.

Of course... I'm sure stuff like this (along with the earlier demos) convinces people who are on the fence to upgrade to Gold.

Braid is good for 800 points, but I'm not going to upgrade to Gold when I don't even play online games on 360. Silver owners get shafted, yet again, and it makes no sense... The whole week 1 demos thing was fine, but no deal of the week? Seems weird how MS doesn't put any sort of implications on the video content on the XBLM, but they want to shaft us when it comes to gaming. Why is that?

Finally, being a gold member has a financial perk. Looking forward to Braid tomorrow after work. :)

Gonna have to go buy more points for Prince of Persia DLC this Wednesday.

What better service? Oh, you mean day-one demos that were taken away from Silver members?

You would also earn the honor of being one of the 80% of opponents I face in Street Fighter 4 online who kicks my ass and makes me want to throw my controller through the window.

I just wish they brought the Free Stuff tab back on marketplace. Maybe I'm just overlooking it, but that was always the first thing I checked pre NXE.

maybe, y'know, people don't play online and they refuse to pay for a promotion that should be universally available to begin with

Always someone bitching about the Gold. You get what you pay for.

Nice, I was always debating if I should buy this game. Now with a price drop I see no reason not to. :D

Well I can understand (people who have families, or students will have a hardtime taking out $30). But the party chat system and having a cross game invite seems for now makes it worthwhile.

Guess I'm going download the demo for Braid tonight and try it out ^_^. I do admit, this is the best thing since removing trail games on my card for XBL. Still kinda wish they were more serious with the Arcade Hits.

Being honest, If 30dollars are that much of a hassle. You shouldn't be playing games to begin with.
