I want to see if Frantic Mode would solve that issue.
Gotta love those heart pounding, butt hole tightening, fist clenching, eye bulging, cold sweat inducing moments when you're in first, on the final lap and the game gives you nothing but coins.

Yeah, you can tell they put all they had in the proper gand prix and online mode, the rest got the shaft, it feels barebones when put against MK7.
But racing is SO GOOD.
I was in like 9th and someone bombed me just because they could.
Some editing wizard needs to put a HUD and effects into that gif.

I wish I could put the map on the TV screen. Every now and then I look down at the GamePad map and it, rarely, ends up messing me up.
It's kind of messed up that the gamepad lets you see what items players around you have too.
That was me.
Mario Kart brings out the worst in GAF.

Man, that was a horrible Bowser's Castle run for me. I usually do a lot better on that track.

I think this used to be the case with MK7 and MKDS too, though usually GAF tends to be too vicious for me to afford batting my eye down at the screen and when I do notice someone having a blue shell while I'm in first I panic lmao

Whoever threw that bomb hit me dead on.
Set the map display by pressing on it on the gamepad, player names appear to the left with a little circle that shows item box acquisition or what they have.
Fingers crossed!
She just said she'll ship by tomorrow so hopefully it's legit!!
