We know it has Zelda on launch. It will likely also launch with a big showcase new IP. Those and some quality smaller titles as well as stuff from third parties to flesh out the launch are what's needed. Pokemon and Mario are definitely titles to be saved for the months ahead.You both make good points. Plus, there's always the possibility some nuance in his words is lost in translation. So, that's reassuring. Thank you.
I don't know that E3 is no longer relevant. They even leaned on the BotW showing at their last investor briefing. I think it's definitely less relevant than it used to be, though.
I agree, but at the same time they do need at least a few big titles at launch. They need to make a big splash.

I agree, but based on comments Nintendo has made I expect a different title and different look when we next see 2D Mario. I guess it's now spent 3.5 years back on the shelf so we could be due for a new unveiling.
