There are going to be mistakes made, and as far as that page reads, the corporate response is a flaming middle finger with no attempt at offering accountability.

The more I think about it, the suggestion on the last page sounds right, gamerscore is going to start mattering a lot more somehow, and this is clean-up and scare tactics so people can't abuse the system when that happens.

I definately do not think you should be banned for this as it really is a useless score. But the people that jack there's up generally care about them so this really hit's them where it hurts.

MS definitely has logs of when people play a game (while online of course), and it would be very easy for them to notice so very abnormal behavior in that people are *always* getting their achievements offline even when they spend hundreds of hours playing online too.Kulock said:

They did it because it undermines the significance of the gamerscore system. It's a competitive advantage they have against all other platforms. If anyone can cheat their way to impossibly difficult achievements and higher gamerscore, then it becomes meaningless and achievements will stop being a differentiator and start becoming a joke to the community.dream said:
