It's still too early to judge. She is speaking slowly and is having trouble with motor control, but she's improving quickly. When she first woke up, she wasn't able to spell words (kept typing out gibberish while trying to text), but now she is doing well. She was given the OK to eat ice chips, but I needed to help her use a spoon to pick them up. But she hasn't been behaving differently than she normally doesGlad to hear she's doing much better. Did you notice any personality changes?
My thoughts are with you and the family man. Like everyone else said in this thread already, we're here for you.
You guys have insurance, right? otherwise this is going to suck...it seems she's going to recover though, so that's great. sorry this happened, but just remember the finish line is close.

I'm going to save it for when she gets home.
Just got home and started reading this thread. up to here, this got me the most.
I hope she continues to get better, and recovers nicely. From the sounds of things she is tough will improve daily. Just don't let her try to get back into things too quickly. Healing fast is great, but over doing it or under estimating how much recovery is left can be a back thing.

Her insurance is being disputed. She sent in the dispute about two weeks ago, and they told her a response could take up to 90 days. She was supposed to be insured through work, but something somewhere went wrong and it never became active.
We are trying not to worry about that right now though.
What this guy said...Just read through the thread and wanted to say that it's awesome that her condition is improving so much, so fast. You guys make a cute couple and I hope she makes a full recovery. Get some rest Crunched.
Making a big ass e-card for Crunched's fiancee. PM me .pngs of your e-sigs (username or real name) typed* or written. Should be at least 200px by 200px or 72 pt font (bigger is fine it's going to be resized for the card.)
Here's what it's starting to look like in case you're wondering.
*If you want me to just throw your name up on there without the hassle of making a .png I can and if you have a color/type preference tell me.
