No troll at all, really, but everyone always said "RE5 on Wii? That´s impossible, dude", but this looks like a visual enhanced RE4, just another setting. Im sure the game will be awsome, but now i can see the game coming to Wii as well, without cutting away major contents.
Anyway, Chris rules!

MasterMFauli said:I dont see what´s wrong with my statement, fellow RE-fanboys.
The visuals are awsome and only achievable through nextgen-technology like X360 has it. But the environments, and their scale, isnt something that wouldnt be possible on Wii, opoosed to, say, Assassins Creed. Really, calm down, lol.

All the Wii-haters always said "RE5 on Wii? LOLz, that would have to be a whole different game !!!11". After this trailer, it´s clear to me that this wouldnt be the case,
after viewing the trailer, i actually kinda sorta agree with this. :/MasterMFauli said:Ok i´ll make it super easy for you

They'd have to completely remake all the assests, so Capcom might as well make an entirely new game. RE5 could not be ported.MasterMFauli said:Ok i´ll make it super easy for you

omg rite said:Wrong.
MasterMFauli said:Not really.
Pure visuals are way better, yeah. But the scale and the designs are nowhere near impossible for Wii. I mean, im glad, you´re glad, happy, aint we![]()

Haha, I was going to say that. Serpent and the Rainbow also sucked.Onix said::lol what?
Serpent and the Rainbow was set in Haiti and the Amazon rainforest.
It did remind me of the atmosphere a bit though ... if they have some nightime levels ... it will really remind me of it.

a nice look at his arm xD
lockii said:No, you're wrong. It can be done, but whether it's worth the time and effort on Capcom's behalf is an entirely different matter.
Gokurakumaru said:I've got to say I'm a little disappointed with the setting. Another Resident Evil set in a remote village halfway around the world. Half the brilliance of the earlier RE games was their locale. It made the horror a lot more tangible imagining how it would be to find the city right outside your door overrun with zombies. But here we have a presumably African setting, so right off the bat it's both foreign to most of the target audience and already a bad result for the character before you even talk about viruses or monsters. Let's face, Africa is messed up. It's like putting RE in the middle east, i.e. plenty horrific on its own merits.
