NFL 2017 Week 4 |OT| Taking a stand by taking a knee

Teams and fans waiting their whole lives for the one QB that's going to fix everything

Meanwhile Flacco and Dilfer got carried to rings, and I'm set for life because of it

Honestly. Joe Flacco won a Super Bowl. Phillip Rivers never has. (and likely never will).

I wouldn't say Flacco was carried. He went on one of the best post season tears we've ever seen.

Which he made it to following what remains one of his worst regular seasons ever, including a game where the OC got fired the week before and he looked even worse than he did when Cameron was blamed for it

Lest we forget. Dump off on 4th and 29. Is that the aforementioned Chargers letting Ray Rice convert?

Remember when Packers fans insisted Rodgers didn't need receivers, an o-line or a defense? Good times.

Last year their entire team was pretty mediocre, and injured. They still made it to the NFC championship even with a mediocre team purely because Rodgers existed.

lol that's such an awesome play right there. 3 Chargers fail at the first tackle, 1 comes close and gets demolished, and they finally get him at the first down.

Will Fuller returned to practice today. Could be interesting with his speed to take the top off defenses.

Then of course drop the balls thrown at him

Why was he not on the PUP list?

Can't sell tickets to a season if your QB's IR'd before Week 1

Their next month is @Seahawks, vs 49ers, @Titans, vs Jags, and @Bengals. If they drop 3 of the first 4 of those, he should be IR'd before November tbh. No need to risk making his poor health worse in a lost season

Joe Six-Pack: posting for the common man
Last 10 Super Bowl winners:
Code:
XLII	Feb. 3, 2008	University of Phoenix Stadium (Glendale, Ariz.)	New York Giants 17, New England 14
XLIII	Feb. 1, 2009	Raymond James Stadium (Tampa, Fla.)	Pittsburgh Steelers 27, Arizona Cardinals 23
XLIV	Feb. 7, 2010	Sun Life Stadium (Miami)	New Orleans Saints 31, Indianapolis Colts 17
XLV	Feb. 6, 2011	Cowboys Stadium (Arlington, Texas)	Green Bay Packers 31, Pittsburgh Steelers 25
XLVI	Feb. 5, 2012	Lucas Oil Stadium (Indianapolis)	New York Giants 21, New England Patriots 17
XLVII	Feb. 3, 2013	Mercedes-Benz Superdome (New Orleans)	Baltimore Ravens 34, San Francisco 49ers 31
XLVIII	Feb. 2, 2014	MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, N.J.)	Seattle Seahawks 43, Denver Broncos 8
XLIX	Feb. 1, 2015	University of Phoenix Stadium (Glendale, Ariz.)	New England Patriots 28, Seattle Seahawks 24
50	Feb. 7, 2016	Levi's Stadium (Santa Clara, Calif.)	Denver Broncos 24, Carolina Panthers 10
LI	Feb. 5, 2017	NRG Stadium (Houston)	New England Patriots 34, Atlanta Falcons 28

Of those teams, the only team to win on the back of their franchise QB only were the Asterisks. Even the Peyton Manning led Broncos went out and paid for a defense after they were embarrassed by Seattle. As it stands, yes Peyton was considered a franchise guy, but he didn't win that game for them - the defense did.

What's funny? Packers had a top 3 defense their Super Bowl year. Not to mention Pack fans are in here complaining on a weekly basis that Thompson and Capers are wasting Rodgers prime with a trash defense.
you just proved my point for me. I said the last ten superbowls all the winners had a QB considered elite or managed to play elite during the playoffs.

there's three QBs on this list from both teams that aren't considered every day elite, Flacco, Eli, and Kaepernick. Literally everyone else on the list is considered elite, Rodgers, Ben, Manning P., Brady, Ryan, Warner, all considered elite the only borderline guys are Wilson and Newton.

You also can't sell tickets if you break your QB so badly he has to retire. Deciding to not put Luck on the PUP and attempt to rush him back is a dumb move that is putting the future of the franchise at risk.

Meanwhile he hasn't thrown a pass since day one of this year, and this is how he looks as of late July/early August

Yeah, totally ready to take a hit to salvage a season

He wore out the book? He also looks like a before picture when some one has done drugs.

Giants wont draft a replacement for Eli this off season.

Wow, he looks like he aged 40 years in the offseason. The Colts ruined this kids career and it's a damn shame.
