(random side note: Why can I still not buy 3DS games from my Wii U?).

This is one of the Nintendo account issues. Wii Us can have multiple NNIDs and thus any of those NNIDs if associated with a 3DS has access to anything bought by one of the other NNIDs. This is one of the cross buy issues with WiiU/3DS games.

I have no idea why it was implemented that way.

I like both, but most people would recommend A New Beginning more. The first month is pretty slow, but it gets good after that. I thought the first month was fine, so I guess I am of the unpopular opinion both times, xD.

hopefully they are both 9.99
9.99 is kinda my sweet spot for those 3DS games with retail releases

Bayonetta 2 for £24 and finally, the best deal of the sale, Xenoblade Chronicles for £9 (EU eShop).

I might buy Xenoblade again just so I can play it solely on the Gamepad, makes it so much easier than having to hook up the Wii Remote + Classic Controller and having to point the remote at the Gamepad's sensor bar.
