Can't think of anything I want this month from the eShop...nor next month (though got the Xenoblade X LE pre-ordered).

Guess it's waiting to see if there'll be any sales for the rest of the year.

Well, being that we don't know what's coming until (sometimes) the day of, I don't see how that statement really works?

Fair enough. I was meaning more in general gaming, though. There's no games retail or digital for all systems aside from two that I can think of that I want, & I'll be amazed if a VC title gets added that I want.

Not to mention the stuff that we're aware of which is mentioned in the OP.

Just realized, they missed a chance for a VC sale on titles like Castlevania for Halloween.

....or I don't know, Namco could've re-released Monster Party & that one Famicom Splatterhouse game.

Not that we celebrate this in Europe, but Thanksgiving seems like a good time to put Rune Factory 4 on sale so this is what I'm hoping for this month

Went ahead and bought Resident Evil Revelations on Wii U. I probably won't be playing it soon, but that 75% discount was too good to pass up.

Also, remember this game and several others are on sale until Nov. 2, but since the eShop goes on maintenance today at 7 PM PST, you may want to get it before that happens.

Is pacman ghostly wii u any good? Is on a 9 bucks sale on the eshop.

Do you like linear platformers with some light beat em up stuff?

It's a serviceable experience. Fun enough, but not great. It's worth $9. The recently sale they had on Legend of Kay HD for $15 was probably a better value.

Wow! Rodea is coming out so soon? I've heard so much news for this game, but didn't expect it to be right around the corner. Here's hoping it's worth the wait some people have been going through.

Yo-Kai Watch seems interesting and I know that someone working on it made a statement about how they think it's going to be the next Pokemon, insisting it's already bigger in Japan. I guess we'll see how it goes here.

Have Sonic 1 and 2 already been removed from the OG Wii Shop?
In Japan. Sega of EU confirmed that it was only in Japan where they've been removed. I checked & they're still listed on Xbox.com for purchase, as they were removed on XBLA in Japan as well.

I searched on Nintendo's site & they're still listed on there as well. For example, Yoshi's Cookie was removed on the Wii VC in 2013 & it's not on Nintendo's site anymore.

Yoshi's Cookie is a special case. That game was completely purged from the Wii Shop Channel.

In Japan. Sega of EU confirmed that it was only in Japan where they've been removed. I checked & they're still listed on Xbox.com for purchase, as they were removed on XBLA in Japan as well.
They confirmed this is 2012...which was the previous time these Sonic games were removed form VC in Japan (which made me surprised when I heard this removal news as I like, didn't this happen 3 years ago...).

Speaking of which these delistings are still Japan only, right?

Two questions:

How is the Wii U version of Binding of Isaac: Rebirth? Any bugs? Have they been patched? Are those patches already out in Europe?

I've read that the german version of Resident Evil 4 Wii is missing some bonus chapters. So the version on the german Wii U eShop is missing them as well? If I buy a PEGI rated retail version, will the bonus stuff be on it?

The German version of RE4 Wii is missing Mercenaries and Ada's Assignment. Since Capcom never bothered to let the full version get re-rated by the USK, the same is still true of the eShop release. This only affects the German versions. By the way, this is true for all versions of RE4 that have been released in Germany on all platforms. Capcom has been fucking this up since 2005.

Not a bad video, had some games I would be interested in. Unfortunately the inclusion of A Hat in Time makes me question many other games in the video.

Nintendo Enthusiast's indie coverage is a bit too optimistic about the inclusion of games that have only the vaguest hints about "expressed interest" in appearing on Wii U, also in terms of estimated release dates. It does the information a great disservice.

I need some help guys.

I don't quite understand how nintendo's retarded account system works but here's the thing:

Me and my brother bought a 3DS a while back.
Last week he decided to get a new 3DS and said he'd take care of the data transfer.
I had a save for SMTIV that I absolutely did not want to lose so I warned him to be careful because I know that shit isn't as straightforward as it seems.
So at first he called me telling me that after changing the account to a new system the system was blocked for 7 days. I said "WTF?" but ok, whatever.
Today he called me saying that somehow he messed up and the data that is on the SD can't be used on the new system and can't be transfered back to the old one either.
So essentialy my precious save file is gone.
Can anyone help me out here? There has to be more to it than this, right?

Your brother seems to be completely clueless.

It would help to know what he did.

If he just did the normal system transfer then inserting the old SD card into the new system that the data was transferred to would solve the problem of your saves since they'd be on the new system. What kind of 3DS is it actually? An proper "New 3DS?" If he bought a New 3DS and now thinks he can't use the old SD card from the previous 3DS he's only right in that he cannot use the actual card but the data can simply be copied over to a new (microSD) card (used in the New 3DS) using a computer.

The whole transfer thing is really quite simple if you just follow the instructions on the screen. Without knowing what he actually did there's little to help you with. Get both machines away from his incompetent hands and then get back to us.

The data most likely got moved to the new system. A data transfer moves everything not select stuff (game saves/ games+game saves).

The data left on the card (if it still okay) can only be recovered on the new 3DS. Take the sd card, copy the data on your pc, take the formatted microsd from the new3ds, and copy the data from your pc over to it.

If your brother actually did mess it up you're out of luck.

Hopefully someone else can provide better information.

Thanks guys, I told him to do what you said (it's a New 3DS, yeah).
Hopefully the data is still there and he'll be able to copy it to the microSD through his PC.
Thanks again, I appreciate it.

Whoa, slow down. Have him make a copy of the data on the microsd before he does anything. If your brother was truly incompetent, he might have selected delete from the initial system after the transfer. Do what the moon said and get both systems away from him and get back to us.
