Pretty surprised to see Switch Force ahead of Runner 2. I personally think Runner 2 is a classic and should be bought by every Wii U owner especially since there is a lack of software out right now. It is well worth $15 people so jump on it!

Sales help! Personally, I think Runner2 should have gotten a day 1 sale on Wii U. 10-20% off probably would have encouraged a lot of buyers. I was super impressed by the demo, but I'm still holding off right now because it's the same price as HarmoKnight, and they are very similar games.

I bought it yesterday on PS3 due to the Plus discount :p

There's been a message scrolling on top of the eShop saying LEGO City Undercover will be available for download at midnight on the 18th(?) for weeks now.

I'm pretty sure Lego City: Undercover is a digital release as well, I saw it listed as that on the upcoming games in the Wii U eShop.

Anyways, March will kill my wallet. Bring it on!

I was tempted to do that, haha, but I ultimately think I want it for Wii U. GamePad wins! :p

But if for some reason I haven't bought it yet when the Vita port is released, I may get that instead. We'll see.

Still no steady PAL date for Harmoknight? Guess it'll just pop up some time this month. I'm okay with that as long it gets here instead of being another Sakura Samurai.

I know you guys like to complain about "lol 3DS Urban Champion again!?" but putting up with that has gotta be worth getting Paper Mario for nothing[/salty because we don't have this games offer at all and our Club Nintendo was recently updated for the first time in what must be months and it was just some shoelaces]

Yeah you're right, sales really do help. I mean I held off buying Switch Force until it hit $5 so I guess when Runner 2 drops in price it will get a sales boost. However, not to take anything from Harmoknight cause I'm sure it will be good, but I just don't see it being as good as Runner. Everything from the music to the artstyle is just soooo good:p And it surprisingly keeps getting better. If Harmoknight is as good as this I'll be one happy camper and day 1 buyer.

Your assessment is likely correct, but it can't be helped. There's Pokemon music. <_<

Only two weeks till the only Wii U game that matters! Is MH3U gonna be up at midnight or Thursday when the shop updates? No chance in hell I'd wait two days for the store to update.

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
Guys, I don't know if this is possible, but I'm going to suggest it anyway. We have once in a week both 3DS and Wii U eShop charts posted by NintendoEverything. But, sincerly, those aren't as representative as UK / Japanese weekly charts since eShop charts are updated hourly, not weekly. So, could it be possible for any US user to post at least three times a week eShop charts? Having charts posted daily would be great, but I fear it could be maybe too much work. Anyone could post them, whoever has a 3DS with him. If I had a US 3DS, I'd do it myself, but I'm European, and the only thing I can post is Italian charts (and I'll post them in the future too!). It's a sort of idea I had during the last weeks when we've had the Fire Emblem thread, eShop charts being posted more...

So GAF, I'm asking you

is-such-a-thing-even-possible.jpg

I hope the answer is "Yes, it is" XD

Mega Man 3 NES should be on future 3DS releases since it has a video on the US eShop.

And yay, new thread!

(quoting from the other thread). There is a difference of $10 here of course. Even so, Runner 2 seems to be doing well (as far as I can tell).

Also Runner 2 finally bumped the Nintendo Land spot and Runner 2 is now #3. (last time I checked). Will be interesting to see how many of those ZombiU bundles sold.

If NintendoLife is to be believed, HarmoKnight is 15 bucks when it comes out.

They are, it says that on the eShop currently as well.

Nintendo seems really intent on taking advantage of the full price range between $2 and $45 dollars for retail download games.

Not a bad idea, but hope they take the XBLA route and put some compilations out on cartridge for those who don't take their systems online or are protesting Nintendo's lack of account system.

Glad to see HarmoKnight is out this month, but, yeah, cheaper would be better. Tons of stuff to play, anyways, so may just wait for a hopeful sale on it, then. Sales are good for stuff you're 1) not sure about but would try it for a reduced price or 2) are too expensive for your tastes.

HarmoKnight is cheaper than Japan. There's probably a lot more content than Steel Diver and Pilotwings (which are unreasonably priced digitally speaking) so it's not that unfairly priced, especially in relation to the above games and the average NES (re)release.

I should probably get Paper Mario since I loved TTYD... Will it be really ugly if I play it on Wii-U on an HDTV? Any hope of improvement when they make it possible to "upgrade" VC games to Wii-U mode?

I tried plugging my N64 on my HDTV and... well... it's not pretty.

I've been playing it on my Wii U, and while it doesn't look great, it's not particularly bad. The art style ages really well.

I broke down a few weeks ago and downloaded Harmo Knight on the japanese eShop. It was like $21 after exchange and so far it has been plenty worth it. Lot of levels, lots of secrets and plenty of opportunities for replay to get 100%.

Yeah, if it's worth the $15 (it will be £15 let's face it!), I don't see a problem with the price at all.

it's gonna make it tough for me to pick HarmoKnight right away though
