Why are you reading my tag instead of the title of my post?
So I just went ahead and bought Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask for the 3DS. It's at Gamestop for $10 new and I had a Kongregate $5 coupon and I cancelled my Destiny PS4 pre-order. It costs ¢40 though so I don't know if I continued my streak of getting 3DS games for free. But now I have Layton, Pokemon, Mega Ten 4, Bravely Default, A Link Between Worlds, Orcarina of Time, Super Mario 3D and Fire Emblem to play. I'm no more than like 4 hours into any of them besides Bravely Default. Holy shit I'm swamped. Where do I even start anymore? I can't just play the one I like the most, it's tied between Fire Emblem, and Zelda. I can't do the one I've made the most progress in, that's Bravely Default and I need another 15-25 hours. I just can't stop... I literally don't have the time for all these games.

Gives all the fucks
Can't wait for Mysterious Murasame Castle. Not sure if I want X3 since I only played that once via X Collection & wouldn't mind trying the SNES version compared to the PS1 version.

Edit: Oh yeah, looking forward to Tappingo 2 as well.

I want Mega Man Battle Network, but I only have $5 from the Wii U Deluxe program.

Buy enough digital goods so you get $2.99 back from the Digital Deluxe program. Then you can get MMBN.

(Sorry. I had to do that joke, if only to make myself smile.)

I'll wait for Bayonetta, if the retail copy comes with a digital download code. Maybe that, or more Club Nintendo rewards, will help me get another $5.

Don't worry, my friend. Only enjoy.

Murasame Castle is gonna be hype.

I wouldn't mind Ufouria (on 3DS) and as always, I've got my cash reserved for Game & Watch Gallery 3.

You can play the one you like most.

Play Ocarina of Time, then Fire Emblem, then Link Between Worlds, then Bravely Default.

Okay, so I just got a Wii U and just signed up for Club Nintendo. I want to pick up Paper Mario, but I don't have a classic controller and since the gamecube adapter isn't out yet (right?) I wouldn't be able to play it, correct? Am I misunderstanding what it says on the reward page for PM?

That is correct.

Frederic: Resurrection of Music is pretty darn good guys. One of those out of nowhere releases.

The music is all remixed Chopin. There are...
-Country
-Reggae
-J-Rock
...renditions of his work, along with others. (Some straight up Chopin too, when you battle against a guy in Russia.)

Gameplay is exactly like a touch-based Guitar Hero. Graphics and presentation are similar to Samba de Amigo on Dreamcast, albeit in 2D. Cutscenes are comicbook like. Also, Chopin shoots lazers from his fingertips.

Let's hope this month is better than the last.

Yes, let's.

Well I've made my point and you have too. I'll try to stop complaining.

Today's the day..

WTF NOA. Seriously. No wonder your financials are in the negative.

Welp. No VC games other than NES Mega Man for Wii U for August then.

We keep hearing that the reason for the slow VC releases is because Nintendo wants it absolutely perfect. This image is absolutely horrendous compared to the 3DS/Wii/NES. How did this even pass?

Release more than one damn Wii U VC game. Mega Man is an amazing game and it's great it's on the Wii U now, but one release...really?

Problem is, I already have that US account with several games.

Indeed. You'll just need to make a judgment on whether it's worth the inconvenience of juggling two accounts for the convenience of using a credit card. Even if you don't use it, it doesn't hurt to have one anyways. I'm in Canada but I keep a US account as well.

I'm looking forward to seeing which games are offered as Club Nintendo rewards this month. I picked up 3D Classics Kid Icarus last month and was quite pleased. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for something as enjoyable.

That is so weird, and awesome. Reggae Chopin?!

I'm critical of NOA and the eShop myself, but I agree, Top Hot's schtick is starting to get very old.

So has NOA's horrific output. Europe and Japan getting multiples VC games a week and sales. We get Bases Loaded that looks to have only sold 7 copies.

They didn't release a single 3DS VC game this week when there's plenty of them to release. Why the hell not?

Let's be honest here. We all love and want nintendo to succeed but they're failing to turn a profit. Digital revenue has decreased tremendously as well. They could rectify this easily. They choose to go down with the ship.

As many people have conveyed to you already - that's not what this thread is about.

If you want to create a thread about Nintendo's financial situation, game release choices, etc. you're more than welcome to. SalesAge is a big thing here.
This thread is about discussing the games that do get released.

Yeah, there's some discussion of what is going on as a comparison between regions, what we would like to see done, what we hope to see done, etc.
But you've far, far, far, far beaten your point to death.

Why are you reading my tag instead of the title of my post?

1. Nintendo's problems can not be solved or discussed so easily as "they should do _____".

2. Imagine if I or someone else ranted about the lack of Vita compatible legacy games. All the time. It'd get annoying.

3. Take to NOA Twitter is you're so annoyed.

According to Wikipedia:

North America Virtual Console has 150 3DS releases, 100 Wii U releases.

Europe Virtual Console has 144 3DS releases, 102 Wii U releases.

Of course, you'll find a way around this and/or baby cry about something else entirely, but I thought I would just put the numbers in front of your face.

Starlog August 2314: Its two hundred years later but I still haven't been able to play Shovel Knight in my region. Hoping this month.... like I do every other month, brings it to me.
