(random side note: Why can I still not buy 3DS games from my Wii U?).

This is one of the Nintendo account issues. Wii Us can have multiple NNIDs and thus any of those NNIDs if associated with a 3DS has access to anything bought by one of the other NNIDs. This is one of the cross buy issues with WiiU/3DS games.

I have no idea why it was implemented that way.

That really shouldn't matter, since the process would basically be entirely server-side anyway.

is anyone using a 64GB with their new3DS?

EDIT: is there any 3DS game that does not have a digital release?
I was using a 64GB but had to upgrade to 128GB earlier this year. Just remember you need to reformat the card to fat32 before using it.

And there's a bunch of 3DS games not on the eShop yet for whatever reason. I'm personally still waiting on Tales of the Abyss, Pacman & Galaga Collection, Monkey Ball 3D, Shinobi 3D , Ridge Racer 3D and DOA Dimensions myself.

That's on there. $20.

I'd prefer a Ridge Racer 3D+ though with Amiibo support.

So the final haul from the week (including trade and some winnings from of all people, Konami...)

Wii U: Legend of Kay HD, Kirby's Return to Dreamland (converted from physical), Alphadia Genesis, Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures, Don't Starve Giant Edition, Adventures of Pip, Mario Golf (VC)

3DS: Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, Rune Factory 4, A-Train, AVGN Adventures (couldn't decide which version to get).

hmm thinking of getting one of the Harvest Moons
which one would you guys recommend?

I like both, but most people would recommend A New Beginning more. The first month is pretty slow, but it gets good after that. I thought the first month was fine, so I guess I am of the unpopular opinion both times, xD.

hopefully they are both 9.99
9.99 is kinda my sweet spot for those 3DS games with retail releases

hopefully, we'll see Fossil Fighter Frontier and Story of Season on sale on the eShop soon

Bayonetta 2 for £24 and finally, the best deal of the sale, Xenoblade Chronicles for £9 (EU eShop).

I might buy Xenoblade again just so I can play it solely on the Gamepad, makes it so much easier than having to hook up the Wii Remote + Classic Controller and having to point the remote at the Gamepad's sensor bar.

Does the save from the physical disc version carry over to the digital version?

No way, I've been dying to play this game. But they chose the worst time for me, I won't have time for months with XCX coming out.

Gives all the fucks
Holy crap, I would totally be up for replaying Zack & Wiki. It was pretty much one of the Wii's first great 3rd party game that wasn't a port.

Hopefully the US will get it, we still haven't gotten 3rd party titles here.

Pretty nice week. If you plan to get Xenoblade Chronicles X digitally, I guess you should buy Xenoblade Wii today (if you don't own the game yet) since you'd essentially get Xenoblade Wii for free.

ooohhh shiiit, Zack & Wiki. I don't know why I sold my retail copy but I'm definitely going to pick the digital version up to replay it.

Argh. Really want to play Z&W again but haven't forgotten how bad the controls get later in the game. :(

And I bet my physical copy of XCX arrives before those data packs go up. :(

Sucks to be negative, that's a damn good downloads week. :p

If you haven't got the Wii Xenoblade and want the digital Xenoblade Chronicles X, if you get it today in the cyber sales for £8.99, you'll then get a £9 discount on Xenoblade Chronicles X meaning you essentially get two games for £50 and save a penny!. Bargain

They can't be serious, can they?

The whole point of releasing the Data Packs early should have been, so that they are already downloaded when the game arrives. -.-
I only get it for Christmas and I'll stay with my family for a few weeks and their internet connection sucks. Thanks NoE for making an absolut stupid decision once again.

EDIT: Thank God.

I was going to wait until Christmas to get Xenoblade, but the deal with the Wii one is tempting me.

Only thing stopping me is the fact I'm going to be spending £456375486658 on Pokémon Picross this week

Double dip confirmed then.

Goddamn, what a week - NoE going balls out with Paper Jam Bros., Xenoblade Chronicles X, Zack and Wiki, and Kirby Mass Attack and Power Paintbrush.

Gotta get my external hard drive set up for the Xenoblade data packs, 10GB on a 2TB hard drive 😂
