How do you leave a twilight mission? Silly me thinking at lvl 22 a lvl 15 mission would be a cake walk instead I get churned to bits by these lovely skeleton wheels and now I just want to leave this godforsaken place.

Spear isn't cheese. Taking 1 hit per 20 seconds and running away for the rest of the fight is cheese. Can't understand why people want to play like that... so boring.

That was the point though, there's a boring way to fight here and it shows that nothing she does is BS.

Do people want NG2 boss fights where they are seemingly time attacks unless you have lucky/get the easier enemy pattern?

Even Tachibana is manipulable in a large arena. I thought that was every single Souls boss. I only played through Demon's and most of Dark so, I can only think of the Gargoyles on that one bridge?

You can use that branch thing in your inventory (if your sorting is default, it's at the bottom) but you lose all Amrita.

I can jump in and help you finish if you like.

Can't u just use the whatever branch that you have? It can send u back to the map menu.

Same way you leave a regular mission. Himorogi Fragment or Branch.

I don't get Ki Pulse. I receive the animation after pushing R1, but I can't see any difference in stamina loss/recovery times compared to not doing it. I also don't clean up any of the demon grey spots, so I must be doing something wrong.

I love how all 3 of those clips end with a sword through your chest (except 1, but we all know how it ended :P). Looks a lot like my attempts on that boss lol My favorite in the game so far for sure.

AHAHAHAHA I got a lot better at dodging the stab on my clear after that fight xD I fought her I think 4 or 5 times
See "before you can dodge away :)" for correct context :)
I'm fairly certain she just breakdances for 40 seconds then dies :O

If you don't clean up puddles, you're not doing a perfect Ki pulse. You can also set a perk that increases damage after a succesful ki pulse, use it as a confirmation. With Flux, you actually get bonus stamina back so you can maintain combos for longer. It really increases DPS against stunned bosses.

i like
fu
ku-chan

i died like 4-6 times fighting Nue i think but it is too hard to not get greedy and fuck up because of that.

im starting to feel my under leveled (but awesome stats) crimson armor hold me back, when i get hit by the statues and shit they carve me for like 300hp a hit. i only soul matched my weapons but i didnt do it with my lvl 6 armor

Is it me or is that skill that gives you an attack boost for your next attack after a perfect Ki pulse bugged? I compared the damage values of a normal attack before and after a perfect Ki pulse and it's the exact same number... And yes, I'm sure the skill activates because I get a buff icon under my health bar after a perfect Ki pulse.

Anyone?

Word of advice, don't let a WOMAN make you waste your time with a nap. You'll lose like 3/4 hours of playing NiOh.

There's no level restriction on joining. I'm going to try your password

The difference between using Ki Pulse and not using Ki Pulse is quite clear. One method gives you Ki back, the other doesn't :P

Branch hey? For some reason I thought it was a one use consumable, what's the difference between that an the harikiri sword if both make me lose all amrita?

Is there any way to start each life with more than 4 elixirs?

You get three elixers per life.

For each five kodama you collect then you get one more elixir per life. So you can have a total of eight free elixers per life after collecting all 25 kodama in a region.

Also if you use less elixers then you collect then they go into storage and you will automatically take them out of storage when visit a shrine and you have less than your carrying capacity.

Hm, I also get that error message. But I'm only like 5 levels above you. Shouldn't be a problem. Mabe check that password again?

The password is OK, and the game seems to be accepting my ochoko just fine. If I reboot my ps4 do I lose the progress on the level?

Fragments let you keep your amrita, they're limited use though. Sword warps you back to a shrine I think? Better than being ganked by some fuck I think.

you're probably doing it a lil too fast.

I think I got that part right.

It's working!

Was thinking that game was considerably easier than beta and lct

Realized i missed a coupla kodamas on poison level, chose to pick them up via being summoned

Had to abort that idea and run the level myself after the fifth try. YE GODS, people die to god damn anything.

Also hilarious to see the quantity of graves in those bridge missions.

So yeah, methinks that nioh is just even more DS than DS in the "learned difficulty" aspect. Enemies can still kill you in 1-3 hits, thats for sure.

Dat last second kill.

Sorry bro. Thanks a lot for your help!

yw!

I got 2 LWs in before I realised that she actually had offensive moves :o

I tried both random encounter and select specific mission. I am lvl 107

I think maybe it's best to not select any specific mission if you're joining someone in particular. Or is your online settings set to limited?

I've never had an issue myself.

is it bad that I haven't eaten since I started this game up like a day ago?

You'll hear a distinct sound if you do it correctly. Take a look at your stamina bar. There is a red portion that will start to fill up with white. If you don't do anything, after the white fills up all the way, your ki will start to regen from a much lower point. If you ki pulse, your stamina regen will start at whatever point the white bar is filled up to. If you perfect ki pulse, you will purify the area.

You can also look around your character after a combo. The ki around you will start to light up and solidify a bit when it's time for the perfect ki pulse.

Is there a meter to look at for Ki Pulsing? I just do it by feel, but a meter would be nice.

This lightning dog is shit, and co-op isn't working.

Any tips for him?

Let's try co-op, lemme know your Password

Otherwise, there is only one attack that "should" be getting you, which is the lightning that hits a total of 4 times. Dash in, swipe, dash out

He has a lot of health so don't try and do more powerful attacks, take your time

Hitting him after his belly flop breaks his stamina, hitting his head at the end of his lightning breath breaks his stamina, hitting him at some point before he does a lightning roll breaks his stamina (This one I've found difficult to time properly). Don't bother trying to break it through normal means. He puts so much yokai shit on the ground that you can never get ahead on his stamina bar. Be careful when he's coming out of the stamina break, he will always do a lightning strike. His lightning break always goes from right to left (as you are looking at him). Try to stand slightly to the left of his head and start swinging when he does a breath.

The lighting dog is the easiest boss so far imo. You need to run in when he does his laser and smack him, huge chance you stun him right away. You can stun that guy basically always, like when he wants to do his 4 lightning bolts as well, or hit his belly when he's down. I practiced flux on him and it worked wonders.

Feel is better man. You can look at the meter, when the white portion is completely filled. Thats the easiest way imo, but I don't look at the action when I do it.

You can either tell when to key pulse by the white bar that appears on your stamina gauge after an attack, or the cloud of silvery dust that appears around your avatar.
