Finally beat the game, moving on to the post game now. Like 5 systems opened up, good god.

Did Oroboros ever post a video for his build? The one for infinite LW. I can't assume it's just Pleiades and Extraction and that's it, right?

Are there any resources for the post game? I'm guessing a lot of people aren't there yet but it'd be nice to research and discuss builds. I'm personally having a real dilemma deciding how to distribute my stats. I think the LW build pumps spirit and I do have spirit scaling weapons but it feels off.

I dunno but, I have my own build for it

You can check this for everything that I have

What the fuck was this sub mission? Early game. So weird.
Just chasing a golden turtle around the level?

That's a Kappa

So did I find yet another bug in the game?
In the mission "Falling Snow", there are some
Blue crystals that have a magic barrier around them due to some ice butterflies. After you kill the butterflies, you're told to go back to the crystals and see if anything has changed. So I go back, and I still can't get through. All of the information out there simply says you destroy them...
.

I do zero damage against them.

I think you might be attacking the wrong crystals. On the minimap it shows if the crystal is linked to butterflies. When you kill the butterflies, the line should disappear. If you see a line going from the crystal it means there are still butterflies connected to it. If you don't see a line it means you killed the butterflies and should be able to damage it.

When you kill the first butterflies, there should be a crystal near them. You don't have to go to the beginning of the level where you find the first crystal because that's connected to other butterflies

Btw what affects the parry damage output? I use parry with dual katanas on some ninjas in a sub mission and I ended up dealing less damage than just swinging for 2 seconds.

Was very disappointed to be honest. I guess the real damage comes from bare-handed parries.

Yep, there were two
Crystal formations. Both of them were still impervious to damage.
Resetting the mission fixed whatever the hell the issue was.

Hey Izuna wanna do some more coop? Gotta deal with the bridge on my way to unlock that bat spirit and then progress on region 4.

Care to join?

Damn I was helping as a visitor in the penultimate mission and racked 2.5 million souls in 15 minutes using Saisetsu-shin's Sake.
I didn't even have +% amrita from guardian spirit or clan

Then the host died and my souls from the mission were halved ;(

Just beat him (sry for quality). This was such an awesome fight, it really felt like a duel between two samurai. I'm beginning to love this game.

I thought my heart was going to explode

Also just beat a boss in a sub-mission with no elixirs left, and 35 hp

Personally think the game should automatically replace the Elixirs with those limited supply, full-heal items when you run out of elixirs. Though I should probably learn to anticipate when I might need them, and put them into an item slot.

How do Summoner's Candles work?

With pleasure, let me just unlock the bat. You can join me, I always leave a cup!

Edit: Also, send a friend request while u at it ;)

My Xbone controller won't let me hit the PS Button ;(

~~

You mean Aya-komori right?

I think you should use Izuna (fox) when you get it <3 (sadly it's not very good)

Beat
Umi Bozu

He wasn't that bad. I sort of liked the fight
except for the beam though if you just keep on going to a side he will never hit you. He takes a different approach from the rest so far. I liked the gimmick that you could light the braziers, but you could also go for the boss directly making the level incredibly small. All I did was untick lock on, and keep at a distance, constantly dashing from left to right. I solely attacked its arms, after about 6 combos on them phase 2 started. I died there once because I wailed on him with LW but the second time I took my distance and picked off the small fry one by one first. Getting out to pop fire talisman. Fire shot is also great to dispose of them. Then its a matter of baiting his lunge, combo and repeat. Form 2 is harmless without minions.

I kinda enjoyed this boss..

as did i, i especially like the lore behind it too.

Well...shit. Like 30 seconds into the first post game mission a revenant drops 4 level 150 divine Red Demon armor pieces. Everything except the helmet. It's the armor set I wanted to build for end game.

Just no-damage cleared U
mi
-b
ouzu
. Three torches lit though. If anyone has no-damage cleared this boss with zero torches, I'd love to see a video. I've cleared it with zero torches myself on both normal and twilight, but I took a TON of hits.

Same thing happened to me. I was wondering if the devs put that revenant because I kept farming the same guy

This is getting hard for me lol - third or so sub mission. Fighting two samurai yokai and one bull yokai while getting bombarded with those flying fire heads.

So, my build is as follows:

Body 10
Stamina 33
Strength 10
Spirit 11

Tanky with an axe basically.

Haven't put any points into anything else. I'm in the 40s level wise, should I consider putting points into magic or something? Or anything else for that matter? Just wondering if I should be using the talismans or ninja poisons etc...
