Which clan...
Shimazu looks good because of the ki Regen. But I don't have that much issue with ki.

Not going a particular element build yet so those are kind of out.

Furata might be nice for luck, but I'm not sure what silver tongue is.

Chosokabe looks like it might be a winner but what does evasion-attack mean exactly? Attacks after dodge?

Depends on your playstyle but personally since I'm sole Katana user with zero magic buffs, I have to dance around him. Make him do his crazy ass moves and get your hits in after he misses. Don't try to block his crazy sword eye move, instead dodge into him/through(more advanced) and get a much bigger punish that way.

Basically make him miss, punish with some hits but don't get greedy until you Ki deplete his ass and then you go to fucking town. If I face him now at my currently level, I have no problems staying in his face constantly and punishing every whiff of his. I did not think this was possible the first time I faced him in the beta or that I would be capable of such things lol. You will legit feel like a badass Samurai by the end of the game.

thx! he dead now. question about twilight missions, what are they for? are they just hard missions with good rewards?

The face when you realize that caltrops/makibishi cause the exact same goddamn debuff as sloth talisman, are instant cast, and you get four with a single purchase

The
Frog
's hitbox is ridiculous, I dodged his spear but his body got me and it took 3/4 of my health in a weird sort of camera shifting maneuver. Was pissed but I needed 5 elixirs and with a smudge left of my health I carried the living weapon all the way through at the very very end and took the fucker down on my 1st try.

Nice vid, the combat in this game is so good.

What's the green item that drops, another rarity of equipment at end game? Anything interesting?

Ya another rarity tier unlocks for end game.

The end part of the
London mission at the end with the clones... What the fuck.

This was cool as fuck, the game even has a title for no hitting them.

You mean this one? Cause yea thats pretty fuckin bad, but pretty easy to deal with up close.

I've seen maybe 1 Axe Revenant in 11 missions.

Do people not like the weapon style or is it a case of swords just being overwhelmingly popular?

Also cracks me up when I see tons of graves next to Sentries. Slowest enemy in the game with the most telegraphed attack, no idea how so many people die to it.

Are people really that confused with the story or are they just being obtuse? I've seen this with a few reviewers already.

They may not know much about sengoku period so all the names and different clans might be unfamiliar. Even then it's a very straightforward story and explicitly told.

Yea, I'm only at the end of region 2, but I have trouble keeping track of the names so it's all just sorta blurring together. Still a great game though.

As someone yet to finish this game.........

It can be somewhat confusing though you have to focus on the descriptions while the main mission is loading as they detail historic presence of the importance of each level and think of the main antagonist
(Kelley)
as someone who is feeding into the anger and revenge of the fallen because of circumstances like capital punishment of casualties of war by pumping them with yokai toxin and add a little pot stirring between a nation to cause anarchy towards another and I think that's some of the plot but I can be really wrong. I think anytime you search for a dead body and get text, it sort of dictates their last dying moments in a stage.

Really wrong. It sort of has an Uncharted feel to it in a very very wacky way, I mean the Marco Polo reference in the beginning was so Uncharted with the simple quote in black background lol.

Oh wow I didn't realize that I should use my Samuri points to unlock the passive skills for all weapons since they work no matter what you have equipped. Some of them are really good.

Needing some help urgently, been running around for 15 mins.

Doing the mission where you light bonfires, I ran across some roofs, found a bonfire and a hot spring and now can't get back? There must be a ladder or something around here somewhere but I can't see anything. Stranded.

The middle bonfire in the Ocean Roars?

I was stuck at some point with the same scenario as you.

Check the walls very careful, particular the walls right in front of that bonfire and wait for a circle button prompt/trigger.

Aye. Some straight-up Run Speed boosts in the Ninjitsu tree, too.

Samurai Points really aren't much of a bottle-neck, nor do they really disincentive switching weapons around. Yeah, having one "main" is great, but variety can be good.

There is a hidden wall. It's near where you would want to go next back to the start

Go to the other side of the hallway, to where you light the third torch, facing the torch do a 180 turn and run to the wall, then move along the wall left and you'll find a talisman on that wall.
