Weird. Did you accidentally sell them? I haven't heard of such a bug.

If all else fails, you can grab a save from the cloud. However, crafting mats are super easy to farm, so I wouldn't stress over it. Just do a few missions and then disassemble everything.

I'm not worried about the ones you get from weapons and armors, the worst ones are the boss specific ones, it took me some time to farm them and now it's gone :(

Well, shit. :(

Cloud saves may be your only option here if you really need them back, depending on how recent the save is.

From 10 hours ago is the cloud save but I did a lot in that time, so I guess I'm gonna have to farm it all again. I guess I'm gonna back it up every hour now lol

fuck fuck fuck it looks like I sold it all somehow cause I have 8 mil gold coins how the hell did I do that, never sell anything from that tab. I guess jokes on me lol wonder why there isn't anything in buyback window tho

thank you for the help, i dont know who it was but you the MVP it felt so good to beat her in like 3 seconds. bless

Says nothing, which mission is it? I skipped few side missions in region 5 and 6.

Will do these tomorrow.

dont worry mate, it is done. but thank you

Done =) Never had the chance to test the Keyword thing,so I have been curious.

thank you very much! i can sleep better tonight

That
third
Onryoki battle was intense lol. I died so many times due to my lack of patience and surprisingly his very fast and long reach moves. Maybe my death count in that single battle is more than in the previous 5 bosses that I fought combined.

Talking about Team Ninja and the references this game has for DOA and Ninja Gaiden, what have you guys noted?

So far I've noticed the "runaway ninja" Kasumi and "chasing ninja" Ayane NPCs in the Iga level, an NPC named something like "dropped by Izuna" in the area before the Nue in the 3rd level and, the best one, the Guardian Spirit Izuna actually performing an Izuna drop on your sorry ass when you face his original owner.
There's also
Muramasa being the missing grandfather (as an NPC you can save to boot)
if you complete a sidequest in I think region 3?

The boss Colin was struggling with was the first real one?

SO HARD.
"Nioh is difficult to a laughable extreme" - Colin "just YouTube The Last Guardian's ending" Moriarty

Shoutouts to game journalists.

I gave up and summoned help on the cavern boss. Huge ramp up in difficulty coming off the
Onryoki
fight. Now I'm nervous for the rest of the game lol.

Should I be killing every Revenant I come across?

I'm in a blue clan, so I fight all the red clan Revenants I come across. It gives you ~double the Glory points vs fighting a Revenant from the same colour/clan you're with. I get around 70 Glory for each kill at the moment.

Don't worry, more than a few of us hit that stumbling block early on. It's a tough boss based on being the second main mission boss you face, and plenty of the later boss fights are much easier in comparison.

Killed that stupid blob this evening. I found that fight oddly aggravating.

Yeah I beat that one today to, it was irritating to me cause I panic when I see the ohko beam coming. I fell in the water enough times fighting that guy... It was surprisingly easy when I beat him. As long as you don't fall in the water and avoid the beam it's very manageable.

Then bridge of bones. Obviously way easier that that boss, but fighting a bunch of enemies at once with random holes to water that Insta kill you... I really hate these water levels. Still love the game though.

I haven't forged or soul matched anything from the blacksmith. In fact I'm still not sure exactly how everything works. I just use the best sword I have at the moment. What should I be doing?

I really like the fictional twist these characters are given while also keeping the subtle nods to their real life counterparts. Not sure if spoiler or not.

Liked the subtle hint to the theories that the monk Tenkai was actually Mitsuhide in that scene after Yuki Onna.

Talk to Tome. She explains everything well enough. Basics of soul matching is that it lets you take a lower level gear with good perks and up level by burning higher level gear with throwaway perks. Press the options button to get clarification on gear terminology.

Is it worth it? Won't I just find better weapon than the one I just made?

If you hit R2 on the Sell or Disassemble menu, it selects all your items in that sub-menu to be sold/disassembled without giving a prompt. I accidentally did this and disassembled all my weapons after clearing out the second mission for the first time, before I'd gone through and equipped all the good stuff of course. Feels bad man.

I Soul-matched one of my early spears from level 15-30 as it had good stats, but then I tried to go from level 30-45 and the price went up astronomically. So it's better to Forge your own weapons or fight Revenants which will give you higher level gear.

I honestly have no idea how that is a reference, though my NG experience is limited so I'm likely to miss stuff. Enlighten me? She does tell you who he is when you just talk to her. She straight out says her Grandfather is
Muramasa
, so it really isn't exactly a revelation though.

Muramasa is the Blacksmith who'd upgrade your weapons in the NG games. Because of that he's part of the upgrade system and consequently, how badass Ryu's combat capabilities were.

I just have to laugh when I'm doing a mission, and I can't figure out if I love it or hate it, heh. It's all foggy, and I keep falling through trap doors, but at the same time it's an atmospheric place, with some fun combat going on.
I think I need to read up and practice with that Iai quickdraw skill or something so I can kill revenants faster. They used to die very quick, but now they have large health pools, poise/toughness, and they block almost too many attacks.

I don't even know how to use it, kinda skipped the tutorial descriptions.

Is it O + R2? (Type B controls). I tried it earlier but it didn't work.

Whatever Type B's equivalent of O + Triangle is.

It's pretty much your Moment Talisman attack, but while in LW.

I wish every weapon got a LW skill like Sword and Spear did.

.

It does? I didn't know that, might have press it by accident or something. Thanks for the info, will keep that in mind from now on.

Also, do you guys know on which level does Karakawa gear drop? I had two pieces in my inventory for some time now, and not sure where it dropped. I'm trying to collect all the armor pieces in the game.

Still trying to get the head piece for Genius Strategist but no luck so far (I believe it's a head piece), I did that dojo mission 100 times now.

I took a break from this game to play DLC from resident evil 7 and that was a mistake.
I'm at the trail of the master mission and getting DESTROYED. I want to throw my controller against the wall and barrel roll I'm so mad.
