Killing revenants clearly above your own level (like 15+ is preferable) who have a full set of Divine gear and selling the loot. This is basically the one size fits all guide to all NG+ farming
Nah, I don't think there are any parry moves where the window would be that generous. The ones I listed just seem to have the most traditional "parry just a bit before you'd get hit" timings. The spear twirl always seemed to need to be activated much earlier compared to those three. It really has been a trial and error process for me. I'm sure some of the more technically proficient folks would be able to actually identify the parry frames.
AFAIK. My looting list shows I have collected more blues than yellows and I've been running with a decent set of luck related stuff as soon as I got my hands on them.
Okay, finally up against my first "git gud" boss (not counting

Yuki-Onna. I can get her down to almost nothing, but just can't avoid some attacks. I'll get her, but she's already claimed me a good 10-15 times.
Probably deleveling to 100-ish and farming 150+ revenants, they'll drop more stuff depending on the level difference so you should be getting 4 pieces per kill.

You have to press the guard button again right after you succeed in a Backwave. The window of opportunity is very, very tight. XLHGladiator had a tutorial about it in one of his Beta videos. I'm pretty sure QwyndolinCinder has linked it, complete with a timestamp, at least once in this thread as well.

Took me probably 30-40 runs I'd guess. Of course when it finally did drop I had just run out of inventory space and couldn't pick it up, and a revanent, dweller, and oni-bi followed me into the room where it dropped. Would have lost my mind if I managed to die before picking it up lol.
imo she's one of the toughest in the game at the point that you fight her

It gets easier from here on out imo. Region 4 has some really cool bosses, 5 and 6 I found to be fun but easy

Hit area 5 and yeah the lack of enemies is starting to bother me too. Should be getting a new set every area but it's more or less the same thing from island 2. Need way more Yokai

Yep, more enemy types and environments are pretty much all I want from a sequel at this point.

Just be patient and learn their attack patterns, that's actually one of my favorite boss fights simply because I love the flow of combat.
How high the items can drop in NG+ Region 6 ?

Like H, she's broken and you can keep using Heaven Flash or use God of Wind.
After? There is no after, there is only bigger numbers and better colors.
I mean the burn-effwct is solid. Perhaps I could raise my equip-burden and mix-match...
Just finished this at level one today.
You're dodging too much if your running out of ki. Dodge attacks the moment her body phases for sword strikes and you should only have to dodge twice during her leg strikes.
She's pretty easy to stagger which keeps her out of phase 2 until the last third, and then her ki drops pretty quick allowing for punishing with critical given that you keep your evasion game on point.
Farm the yasakani magatama and then use all the sets. I have 4pc Yagyu, 4pc Ravening and 2pc WotW all at once, it's a good deal of "close combat damage" bonuses plus some neat perks.

Is it normal to be way below the mission level? Seems I get further below it the more I progress. Doesn't really seem any harder being so far blow, which is weird

What do people think of the following Katana moves? They might not be 'optimal' but are they at least practical in terms of usability or at least damage?
Sword of Discernment - Stuns the enemy by bashing them with the sheath, then follows up with a downward slash.
Sword of Meditation - Performs a powerful attack with a wide opening
Morning Light - After getting knocked down, press triangle to attack while getting up
Flash Attack - Performs a quick attack when switching weapons after a Ki Pulse
Swallow's Wing - Follows up a combo with slash while stepping back.
Swift Step - Maneuver behind opponent in Low Stance after combo

That used to happen to me every time I went to the Nue level as a visitor (during the "sorry" emote part) but they fixed it in 1.03 The only way to remove it for me was closing the game
