My basic rundown of dual swords. Damage in it is pretty good specially if you proc the bonus damage

Going to check these out. I am doing NG+ missions though and I am used to kusarigama just melting anything in one combo in NG so might be just that.

I only used a water scroll on the two sentries and the onyudo, the rest I saved for the boss

barely managed it, but it is possible!

I didn't use anything until the boss but it still felt like it wasn't enough.

Lol, more than a half of my deaths are either from chasing after the Crusher titles before I realized that I could just get myself an Earthfolding spell or dropping loot for the rest of the item optimizers.

Ishida Mutsanari was a much harder boss than Obsidian Samurai btw. Obsidian Samurai i just beat solo on the second try when i know he was just a slow ass. Mutsanari was annoying as all hell, had to pull a summon on him after some tries.

Kinda dreading the meeting with Nobunaga if he is that hard you guys are saying here.

I'd like to know this as well. I think I need just one more twilight mission to get the trophy for completing every mission. I don't like daily rotations of shit so if we can cheese the rotation through the date/time then that would be very helpful.

Nah he ain't hard. Actually rather simple fight and one of the easier human opponents imo.

Yes, but there's also super rare 320 level items that can go to +10.

Ogress just became the hardest boss I have faced so far. Not sure what I am doing wrong I didn't even struggle with Yuki-Onna like this as I beat her on the 3rd try.

I found her to be pretty simple. Her huge size means you can get and stay behind her pretty easily. If you use a sword as your main weapon, use the up + X combo to teleport behind her. Also, use a

I backed my save up before starting a new character, yet I actually had both available to play/switch between for 15 hours...and now both saves are of the second character, 2 hours apart. Game, I love you, but this is straight up garbage tier save system design. It doesn't even include a save number to differentiate them, and then it just overwrites at will. So there goes the NG+ progess I was slowly making. Ah well.

That combo is also incredibly easy to parry. I found him the easiest so far, got him on the second attempt thanks to parry and grapple.

I was alright in the beginning and middle phases, but when he starts shooting crystals and those eyes came out almost every single time I'd screw up a dodge and get 1 shotted. Luckily, Suzuka saved my ass and I beat him after 10+ tries.

Are people able to drop those? Because, I really don't want to have to beat ng+ just to get them.

Help other people, you can get up to 5 with each mission beat.

No clue. I've beat Revenants in the high 200s level range and never saw one so my guess is no.

I feel like the difficulty is just perfect once you arrive on new game plus. Slightly under 150 and forced to be on my toes and twillight level 200 bosses can one shot me.

It isn't a OHKO, can be survived. It also has an absolutely massive windup, so.... not really bullshit either.

Ah yes, apologies, there are loads of ambushes, that is true, but nearly all of those can be headshotted if you're playing it safe, checking corners and the like.

If they're being especially aggravating, might wanna equip an acessory or headpiece with Sense Enemies, will display them on the radar. The game never quite stops placing enemies in corners.

(gank squad to me is when the game places you in a situation where you *have* to fight several enemies at the same time)

105 or thereabouts. Quickest way is to either play The Demon King Revealed with extraction + suzaku + sake, or to simply head on to ng+, which gives you gobs of amrita and divine items. Especially when you hit NG+ Demon King Revealed.

No yokai can be stunned out of their ki recharge animation+ followup. She goes for a grab right after some time passes in the out of ki downed state (for the grab is her ki rec anim) or *very* rarely as part of her normal state attack rotation..

Plus you're in NG+, almost every boss attack there is OHKO. Be less greedy and you won't get grabbed. One can survive the grab when one faces her again in NG+ Demon King Revealed, fwiw.

NG+ missions, really. You're underleveled but they drop a lot more amrita than NG, plus you already start gearing up with 150 drops.

I found that boss requires you to play it quite safe. She's a lot different to the previous boss, where you can sit on his ass and constantly hit him as long as you have Ki.

Dodge and dodge. Left/right for her blast/charge. Forward through her spin attack. Bait her close combat attacks (if you're close she does 3, if you're not close she does 2) and punish her with a couple of hits.
If you have kick. Use it. Once her Ki is broken you can really go to town. If you have living weapon, save it for the end so you can finish her off without worrying about your HP or Ki.

His blocking is bullshit tho.

You can always shoot him/throw a shuriken at him while he flies, will instantly place the bastard in a downed state and allow for a finisher.
