Was doing it alone but dayum my living weapon aint doing shit to those enemies in ng+

I had the same problem until I respecced focusing on spirit and heart.
At least if you're doing it with the fanatic armor build.
50 spirit is when it becomes managable with occasional spirit stones.
40 heart for the dmg to be good enough.

Assuming you at least got a +10 weapon or 320 weapon though.

Interesting. My weapon is only +6
Spirit 29
Heart 30
Using 3 pieces of fanatic with amrita gains + Magatama giving me the 4 pieces set bonuses.

Guess I need to reroll that life on amrita gains on the head piece and at least one other magatama with the living weapon stat.

You need to take advantage of that fanatic set. Its insanely good.

Anyone with a good amrita farming route? Been trying the https://www.reddit.com/r/Nioh/comments/5vau94/omniboozer_first_level_750_farming_guide/ Route but requires quite a massive set up specially those yagatamas

I use this route but with Fanatic's armor. It's extremely simple compared to this guy's setup in that I don't have to use pleiades, extraction, or incense. I also don't have or even want any rare armor perks.

I get about 50 million every 3 minutes, and I feel like there isn't a ton of investment needed outside of one set of Fanatic's.

I'm getting kinda bored of the same enemies still in region 3, but I did at least get caught off guard by a new attack from a regular sword Yokai so that was neat.

320 weapons are gone now after the newest patch.

That is good to know. Regarding the set, you use the full set perks or up until a certain number?

This might be a dumb question, but has anyone else experienced an ever so slight control delay? Yes, I use game mode on my TV and action mode for the game itself. When I use dual swords with low stance, hit mash the low attack button and William keeps attacking even after I stop hitting the button. When I walk and stop using the analog stick he continues every so slightly to walk. It's very very minor, so I was wondering if it's the game itself or a TV issue.

Thanks.

I'm tempted to do massive amrita farming but I actually don't want to be anywhere near level 750 for the dlc. Being that high level plus having all +10 gear would lead to me not having much fun, I think.

Hell, even +10 weapons/armor might be too much.

You can always de-level with a respec.

I use the full set, but I have a have a -1 Accessory which lets me use the Kodama Bowl instead of the helmet. Without the Accessory, I'd probably lose the Bowl and keep the full set. The damage buff is why I can do the mission so quickly, so it likely makes up for the Amrita lost per kill.

I just timed it, and I get about ~52 million for ~2:45 in mission. So even doing it with suboptimal gear should get you a good rate of return, I would think.

That's true, but then what would have been the point of getting to 750 in the first place?

The guy who hit 750 said he maxed every weapon skill tree and still had 426 skill points to go. I think I'd be happy just getting 2 or 3 trees maxed.

After level ~250 every level gives you a samurai point regardless of what you raise. Strength and Skill give you another in addition to that.

Yeah Ive been using only 3 pieces with the -1 magatama giving me the bonus for 4 pieces. Guess ill farm some gloves and chest piece.

As of v1.04, what is the fastest way to get patronage points? When I spam X in Tome chat she just keeps saying "Let me know if you need anything," etc - not getting dialogue choices.

Ah, so that's how that math works out. It's too bad even at level 750 there aren't enough points to max the Ninjutsu/Onmyo trees.

Has anyone gotten both Close Combat Attack (Critical) and normal? From what I understand it should be possible but I can't manage to get it on my weapon.

That only worked after
you got the second blacksmith
and before you finished the
fifth
area anyway.

Is 1.04 even out yet?

1.05 is out too, although many haven't even been able to download 1.04 yet. Probably just a fix to 1.04, and so both should be available for most at least by some point today.

I mean I'd rather they add some gauntlet type mode called "Most powerful Under the Heavens" where you fight progressively harder bosses comprised of Japan's most renowned Swordsmen in a ladder match type deal. Essentially Musashi would be your last opponent and Kojiro Sasaki would be 2nd to last. You'd be able to set what stage you fight them at and various other conditions.

I haven't been able to give this game as much time as I want but...should I be spending agyo prestige points on bonuses?

They aren't used for anything else as far as I know. The latest patch also is supposed to allow you to eventually respec them if you don't like what you currently have.

Those QOL changes in the next patch (and save game fucking fix) are really going to take this game to the next level for me. I'm already enjoying my second playthrough more than my first, and now no more leaving items on the ground, and actually using the storehouse they put in the game? Nice.

If I'm running the Iga set should I stick Change Attack to Dex on the Onanimida Muramasa katana? Also, any input on my build stats? Right now it's something like 60+ in Dex, 30 Skill, 15 Heart, 12 Body, 10 Magic, 6 Strength, 9 Stamina (agility A), and 16 Spirit for the bat.

What's the higest +n the weapons go up to in ng+ mode? 10? If so do later level enemies drop +10 weapons later? Right now my sword is at +4 with 1210 damage. I did that from crafting. But I assume the trick is to keep min level+ and max level+ blacksmith perk to 5?

+10 is the max. Highest I've heard of dropping is +7, but that seems pretty rare. Late game missions generally drop +4/+5 items.

If I have two plus ones and a plus two. Then how do I raise the plus level of my weapon?

Soul match. I think you can match the +1 for a +2 then match the +2 for +3 I am not sure though 100℅ I haven't played the game for a couple of days. I am sure someone here can correct me though.

Thanks!

What happens if I soul match the +1 directly with the +2?

The problem is that I want to keep the other +1 because it is part of my set gear.

I did it. Only the 8th Platinum I ever achieved.

damn nice, how did you get all the money for the blacksmith requests?
Missing that trophy and the one for clearing all missions, currently at 98.5%. Only thing holding be back are those damn Twilight missions. Really don't get why they are a random daily thing :(

I plan on getting the game soon. I still have the completed last chance demo save; when can I safely delete it?

When you're at a shrine one of the options is Boons.

This will give you and DLC associated with your account.

After you have the equipment, you should be able to delete your beta saves.

About halfway though the game I started selling weapons and armor rather than disassemble. I think it's about roughly 10 million you need.

I ended up save scumming that. I spent all my money on stupid things that were expensive to get the requests. Once I got the trophy I reloaded my save with all my gold still intact.

Also, for the Twilight missions, make sure you're doing them on normal mode. Those are the ones that count.
