You know, what pisses me off the most right now is that my roommate and I left the game so we could get back here to school early enough to not be dead tomorrow(and also, as I said earlier, we thought for sure the game would be postponed), yet we were so upset once we got back here that we started drinking...

It's now almost 3am(and we both have 7:30 classes) and we have no intentions of going to sleep.

SIGH.


All we can talk about is seeing the ring ceremony on Tuesday =(

Just as a warning, mlb.tv subscription services is so shady. It's actually a great service itself (besides the blacked-out local games, which are always annoying), but it auto-renews and to cancel you have to either e-mail some address where you get no confirmation of cancellation (as of yet, sent the e-mail a few days ago) or call them (and the number's been busy every time I've tried today, not a surprise since they sent out the e-mail Saturday and the office was closed all weekend), all within ten days of the rebill (which now I'm guessing probably occurred 11 days before the sent the e-mail mentioning the auto-renew). If I weren't studying for the bar and starting work in a few months I would keep it, but seriously porn sites should be so shady.

I was aware of the auto-renewal (at least the monthly one)

Figured I'd have to jump through hoops to get it cancelled, seems my suspicion was correct, but well, I don't plan on cancelling it until I get cable.

Yeah I vaguely remember them telling me about the auto-renewal, but I was on the yearly plan so I had long-forgotten. Seriously, mandatory auto-renewal is fucking bullshit for the consumer in 99.9% of cases and here it's particularly unwarranted. To make cancellation so difficult is just another slap in the face and really bad marketing imo. I might even have considered getting it again just to catch a few non-televised games here and there but after this forget it.

Not liking this first inning at all.. :( haha, I was gonna make a post about having to hear Triumph talk smack, but it seems he already had! But the game is far from over -- fucking blows being at work, then having to go meet my girlfriend after.. gonna miss the whole damn game even though I'm sure it's on TBS here.

And as far as the game being over, you do know what Hudson's record is when given four or more runs of support, right?

ned colletti is really leaving his mark on the Dodgers. They are already starting to remind me of the Giants, with a roster full of a bunch of oldass players nobody else wanted.

15 homeruns so far today. Counting the 2 from yesterday puts the tally at 17 homeruns so far for opening day. Are we headed for some kind of record.

Oh and P.S. Oliver Perez am cry.

i was looking at the hourly forecast for oakland and its been raining all day, its supposed to stop at 8pm-10pm pst, but then start back up so i wouldnt count on it.

Look at this revamped Cubs offense kicking ass today.

We got speed on our team now to match our power. I wouldn't be surprised if the team averages 10 runs a game over the season! We'll need those runs too since we have NO PITCHING WOOOOOOO. Well at least it should be fun to watch all these slugfests!
