Is Joakim Mogren CG?

Almost positive he isn't CG and that the reason he was bandaged up was not only to reference the game and keep things mysterious, but to keep the true identity of Joakim from being revealed. For example, if he had no bandages, we could clearly see his face and I'm sure the internet would find out within hours whether or not he was an actor, no matter how obscure. If it is CG though, that's incredible.

You guys are confusing me, why do you care about this? You already know the game is an MGS game, we've had enough information for that, we already know Kojima is behind it, so why are you even bothering with this viral stunt?

Let me show you through these halls, my friend, where treasures of indie gaming await...
yeah he does. Not swedish

I am pretty sure his nose looked like an indo-european mixed with afro-american roots who grew up in russia in the 18th century.

TIME PARADOX!

Why indeed?

GAF is a pretty smart place right? We can see right through all of this stuff most of the time. So why do we have so many seemingly smart people talking about this stuff?

Could it be because, they're rendered on the Fox engine?

It's so obvious. :lol

This is an excerpt from Edge's feature of Pro Evolution Soccer new engine which is based on Fox engine, thought of sharing it here:

We're shown similar side-by-side images of balls and boots, using specular shading that captures the coating and grain of the material. The real boot looks faker than the in-game image, since it had never been worn.

The day CG gets to that point is the day we will be getting porn games. And i will be a happy man.

Then real porn actors will have to start looking more "real," which means less clown make-up, so then CG will try and keep up by adding "blemishes" to the CG porn, so the real porn will double-down, and before you know it... my God...

Geoff has been trying to hide that he can see the future, but he ruined this secret by commenting on the different pictures before Joakim scrolled to them.

Whats he saying?

He's either cg or the most plastic-y man alive. I'm just throwing this out there so I can say that I was right later.

Edit: Nvm. Watched it on a better screen and changed my mind.

Edit2: Ahh, fuck it. Put me down for Team CG

This has been pretty fun to follow, hope Kojima can keep it up all the way until launch. It's not very often I have actual fun waiting on reveals, nice change of pace over what we are accustomed to lately.

Whats he saying?

Geoff? Stating he noticed the game is running on Fox Engine. Joakim? He isn't saying anything, just making that gasping shocked face at Geoff's amazing detective skills.

Moby Dick Studios is made of intelligent CGI characters, and they are really making a game, and their studio is running on the Fox engine. The situation is arkward right now because they've never been humans before, they're just trying really hard to act like us and fool us just like the shape-shifting reptiles did before them.

So why are we seeing this today? It's actually quite easy to understand: the Fox engine is capable of running the Fox engine, running the Fox engine, running another Fox engine and so on, so that obviously created an infinity time gate in Sweden where computer characters, among other things, came to life.

Geoff Keighley is held hostage in a CGI cell in Sweden and they are using him as a study subject in order to learn more about humans, who, a couple of years ago, created them out of a computer.

Lock your doors guys.

I transcribed the interview:

Geoff: Last year at the VGAs we world premiered the game "The Phantom Pain". And afterwards there was tons of speculation, was this game Metal Gear Solid 5, was it from Hideo Kojima. Well, people have been wondering and there haven't been a lot of answers, but tonight I got invited to a mysterious hotel room to interview the head CEO of supposed game developer Moby Dick Studios.

Alright I'm here with Moby Dick Studios head CEO Joakim Mogren.

Joakim: Hello Geoff.

Geoff: Joakim, thank you for joining us.

Joakim: Thanks for having me, it's very good to see you.

Geoff: First of all, I should ask... What happened to your face are you ok?

Joakim: Yes, I had a little accident, but I should be good by GDC - coming up.

Geoff: A lot of people have been wondering, who you really are, what Moby Dick Studios have been working on. When are you going to tell us more about The Phantom Pain, are you going to be able to show more tonight?

Joakim: Yes, I plan on attending the show coming up in San Francisco, but I don't have anything to show today unfortunately.

Geoff: Ok, let me ask you a few thing though about The Phantom Pain, because you know when we announced this at the VGAs there was a lot of speculation about what this game actually is... Is it a next-generation game, that's something a lot of people ask me on twitter, saying "Keighley is this a current gen game; is it next gen?" Is this a PlayStation 4 game?

Joakim: Unfortunately I can not confirm that.

Geoff: Ok, can you maybe confirm you guys have development kits at least for next gen systems?

Joakim: I'm so sorry Geoff, I can, unfortunately not confirm that either.

Geoff: This is going well... What can you tell us then, at GDC, what are you going to show from the game?

Joakim: This year's GDC show, I will have a new Phantom Pain trailer and I can confirm that it will answer all of your questions.

Geoff: Answer all the questions.

Joakim: Yaaaa.

Geoff: So, we're not getting a lot of answers tonight but at the Game Developers Conference later this month there will be no more secrets about this game?

Joakim: Yes.

Geoff: I guess one thing I will say here is, we're sitting here in a hotel room, we were asked to come interview you, find out something about the game; how do I not know this is not some elaborate ruse?

Joakim: Well unfortunately I can not show too much but for you Geoff I can show some new images and some new stuff here on my iPad that hopefully you'll enjoy.

Geoff: Ok, so you're going to prove that this is real. So what are we seeing here, this is some concept art from the game?

Joakim: Yup.

Geoff: Some concept art, there's the whale it looks like. Oh wow, those look like some new screens... The main character...So these are screenshots. I notice there is a Fox Engine logo in the corner - So this game is running on the Fox Engine?

Is there a summary of the interview anywhere? I can't watch the video right now.

My summary:

Geoff: Hello!
CGI dude: Hey.
G: So...
C: No.
G: Anything?
C: Nothing.
G: When?
C: GDC.
G: Fox engine?
C: !

We're deep in the rabbit hole here.

Okay, this is insane and probably a coincidence, but "Joakim Mogren" is an anagram of "Gen Orm Kojima", which is Swedish for "Gene Snake Kojima". It's just the separate words, not "Kojima the Gene-Snake" or anything like that, but specifically those two words are funny to find there.

The Joakim Kojima part is definitly not a coincidence, but im skeptical about the rest.
