I dunno, I think that helps #TeamReal. Seems unlikely they'd make something so realistic a large portion of people couldn't even tell it was fake, yet give it a ton of strange animations that would bother people. If you're trying to fool people with realism, why make the guy talk weirdly out of the side of his mouth? Why make his eyelids do weird stuff? And I'm not willing to say the animators were just bad, because they're fooling a ton of people, clearly.
