Basically, the thing happens with the sand ocean people, then the ep 99 with the fake rebels (keeping in mind that I'm watching HK subs with totally fubared names), and Ace leaves. Then it's a long stretch of Vivi's origin, flashbacks to hot the oasis town was founded and failed, and then the setup of putting Crocodile's plans into action, and you see how really irritating Baroque Works' other characters are voiced
Between 99 and about episode 115 or so, the only really good parts areLuffy going nuts and fighting Zoro for a bit, then stumbling upon some ruins underground, and then when Sanji owns some huge crocodiles later on when the crew gets trapped in a cage by Crocodile
Then once, there's a series of cool fights that kind of show that all the characters are stepping up to the next level.the actual rebellion starts
Don't count on it. I was looking at One Piece DVDs today, and the Japanese ones only have 3 or 4 per disc. I would not expect a notoriously shitty company like 4Kids to possibly outdo that.Chrono said:haha!
If anyone of 4Kids is reading this: I want 6 episode DVDs. That's right. One Piece is a huge series. That's 6. OK? One less and I'll blow up your offices. Ok I'm kidding.
or am I?

Bootlegs aren't exactly something you wanna get unless you know Japanese because those things have more mangled English than you can shake a stick at.
Drinky Crow said:Movie 3 is screwy; it has Chopper, but not Vivi or Robin. Since the arrival of Robin marks the departure of Vivi, there's NO POINT in the OP timeline where you can have Chopper but NOT Vivi or Robin.
CONSPIRACIES ABOUND
Yeah enough with these fillers, i want story!@MetatronM said:Time to get the real story rolling.![]()
NotMSRP said:Good filler episode. With all of the big actions going on for the past 100 episodes, it's good to sometime just stop and reflect upon things.
LOL, whoops, forgot all about that little rule Shouta.Shouta said:Did some quick retroactive editing. Being in Japan gimps the editing time. However, like I said in Metatron`s edit. If you guys don`t get the joke, I don`t know what joke you will get ;p.
Chrono said:I still can't freaking understand why K-F is the ONLY group doing One Piece. It's one of the biggest anime out there and shows like Samurai 7, champloo, and chrno crusade are being subbed by SEVERAL GROUPS. Why the hell sub champloo episode 3 while everybody is at 6? do they really think their subs are THAT much better? comprisons showed there's not much difference between the translation and the quality in most cases is the same. WTF?
Luscious LeftFoot said:-Probably 'cause it was thought to be licensed (and it is now) - most groups don't want the "man" on their ass
-It's too damn long -No one really knows how long the show will be 300eps? 400eps? 500eps?!
-I don't think it's that popular, at least, not as popular as Naruto. So you don't have the constant stream of new groups picking it up ~ I hear some of them are really horrible.
That's cheaper than the DVDs' street prices here in Japan. I've checked it out. They're about $45 each. DVDs in general run between $40-50 here in Japan. A bargain/budget price is something like $25-30, and as of yet, I've found no places with budget priced One Piece DVDs.Chrono said:meta's post gave me an idea: if I learn japanese I'll be able to watch all the anime I want with no reliance on fansubbers... and of course I would have learned a whole new langauge. How cool is that? so I go to cdJapan and search for One Piece DVDs... just out of curiousty. guess what? It's 41 dollars for a 3 episode DVD WTF!?
Where are you talking about? If you're talking about the US, then you might be right. If you are talking about Japan, then you are WAY off. I'd say the order of popularity in Japan right now, based off of personal observation, goes: 1) Full Metal Alchemist 2) One Piece 3) Naruto 4) Dragonball Z (DBZ is still everywhere).Luscious LeftFoot said:-I don't think it's that popular, at least, not as popular as Naruto.
